According to Forbes' most recent estimate of billionaires from Africa, the continent's list of high net worth individuals is significantly bigger.
According to the Africa wealth report, private wealth in Africa amounts to around 2 trillion dollars as of December 20 20. According to the report, Africa has 22 billionaires, 80,000 multimillionaires, and an estimated 125,000 millionaires with a net worth of more than one million dollars.
According to numerous independent reports, the number is anticipated to grow in the coming decade.
The Africa Wealth Report, released annually by New World Wealth from a Mauritius-based average of banks, lists Africa's wealthiest cities in terms of private wealth held. According to the research, a city's total wealth is defined as the private wealth possessed by all of its residents, which includes all of its assets such as real estate, cash, equities, business interests, and so on.
According to the Africa Wealth Report, Africa's luxury business would generate 6.1 billion dollars in revenue by 20 20. South Africa has the continent's largest luxury sector, which is followed by Kenya and Morocco. Despite the continent's well-known challenges and image as a developing market, the luxury sector is still paying off, as Africa's total private wealth is predicted to increase by 30% by 2030, reaching 2.6 trillion dollars. This growth will be driven by strong growth in the billionaire incentive in fast-growing economies such as Ethiopia Mauritius, Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda.

I still feel like South Africa has more millionaires than those reported. I live in Johannesburg and I know at least 3 millionaires and one is family. Imagine, I don’t even know 1 percent of Jozi’s population.

I do know what the reporter was saying, I was bringing up another point that in South Africa I believe there are more millionaires and even billionaires which include even in the cities listed in this video. Therefore those stats reported by “reputable sources” according to @OchieGodfrey I don’t believe are accurate.
For an example, even those census stats countries always do I don’t believe are accurate because there’s no way you can count every single person in a largely populated country.

The thing is that Nigerian billion aire are not in the stock market they prefer to keep their wealth to themselves and forbe magazine rate you according to your wealth in the stock market that is why billions from Nigeria are always low.
