You did it again! No purge on the steam wand!

I have had my GS3 MP for a year. Actually you didn't pre-infuse at all. You went directly from ZERO to 9 Bar but counted the time the pressure was at ZERO as 5 seconds. It's very difficult to manipulate/control the paddle when the machine is new. It's takes quite a bit of use to loosen it up to use it properly.

I’ve been having blob problems, so pouring out a little is a great idea. Thanks! I’m going to try it tomorrow!

It the steam lever is dangerously positioned specially when you have to hold onto it during steaming.

I will have one in my kitchen in the future. No doubt.

Nice review, feel bad for the steam arm tho for not being purged after steaming the milk 😭

Looks like a terrible location for the steam wand and handle. I was scared she might burn her hand from the hot steam throughout the whole video

Her positioning was bad, likely due to camera angle. in actual use, the ergonomics of the steam arm and joystick is absolutely fantastic. ALSO, youd be surprised how NOT hot the steam is. When you're just blowing steam to the atmosphere, its only hot a couple centimeters from the surface of the steam tip. You can literally put your hand right up near it and the steam is barely warm at the point.

La Marzocco should update this product. It is ridiculous.

Where is Gail? Not the same without her!

Nice features, too bad it looks so ugly, especially compared to a Slayer. It seems like they run out of budget when it came to the design, and the engineers just stuck components in random places, like the steam actuators

    • @rlb2444

Ugly is subjective. The GS3 is a stable machine. Slayers are beautiful as well but often require repairs according to two friends that have them.

@@rlb2444 This is the reason I bought the GS3 over the Slayer. I have the GS3 for over a year now and it is a fantastic machine, but for the price point, La Marzocco should have done a much better job design wise. There are plastic parts, exposed bolts and the ergonomics can be improved.

@@jyfjgtyuh I think customizing it goes a long way toward adding to the look.
