When I was a kid in the 90's everyone took dinosaur cookies to school as a snack, they have a massive nostalgia factor here in Belgium. Unfortunately the brand was bought by Lotus in 2012 and the recipe was changed to use cheaper ingredients. I firmly belief that many of the hardship the world faces today can be directly attributed to the resulting drop in quality of dinosaur-shaped cookies. In this TED talk...

Such a mellow, relaxing video of one of my favorite couples trying Belgian insulin spikes, when suddenly 6:49 hit with some editor's complimentary effects and I almost drowned while sipping on water. Excellent video, solid 3/5. The look of pure disgust on Bundle's face makes it 4/5. I'm gonna do some breathing exercises now to recover from that near death experience.

Never would have seen this coming. Too many things to point out but the most important things: the sugar waffles are indeed very often sold hot so you are exactly right about that. Also dinosaur cookies are pretty generally considered S+ tier, anything less is pure barbarity.

You can buy Biscoff as a spread in a jar, then you can add it to different biscuits, or just on toast :D

I am definitely with you both on wanting the basic milk chocolate, i mean there's a reason why Marabou has so many different tastes.
Like around christmas time when you have a box of Aladdin/Paradis, and it's all filled with various liqueur and coffee and punsch, it's good but i prefer a bar of plain milk chocolate for sure!

As a Bleggg myself, I do have to add, Mr. Spuz, that all of the candy you got was retail quality; it’s a good overall selection of what’s in retail in the Flemish part.
I do believe there are some weirder and/or better candy out there. Should I find some time, maybe I’ll ship you a small box if you like receiving this kind of stuff!

here in portugal we have a bit of everything, and all those belgium snacks are included! the diamond shapped cookies have always been one of my favorite, here we call them "Belgas" which would lit translate to "Belgium" more or less. I was surprised at the ratings, def salty about some, but its always a treat watching your videos so youre forgiven mr spuz >:T

Guylian is one of my favourite belgian chocolate brands. I could eat a whole box double the size you had on my own. Although my favourite chocolates are the ones with hazelnut in them.
Luikse wafels are only good when they are fresh and warm. Getting them store bought just leaves them a bit moist. They also do go hard with icecream
NOBODY can beat the Swedes and their sweets! My mom is from Sweden (moved to the US) and she special orders candy and chocolate from Sweden multiple times a year, if she doesnt end up visiting and bringing back a huge bag in her suitcase 😅
Chocolate seashells were my FAVOURITE as a kid! They're so hard to find in Canada

Dinosaur, sold in a Hemköp near you. Biscoff is also sold in Swedish stores so wouldn't be surprised if you have had any of these two before. And the irony of you saying they are better than the ones we have in Swedish stores 😂

tbh I always buy the cheapest Luikse Wafels because those are best when you put them on the toasty maker :)
If you like very sour candy, we have something called 'smoelentrekkers', its a bit like Napoleon but with a extra sour coating. Translation is litterally 'someone who make crazy faces', because its soo sour

Also, as a Belgian dude who has tasted and reviewed Swedish candy (only candy not cookies)
Swedish candy is less sweet and I think that we do that in our other snackable products as well.
