Can you do vehicles?
I would be happy to start having a go at building so vehicles
@@WBCBuilds yeah
@@WBCBuilds maybe a matching train for those lovely tracks 😜
I really wanna build one! not had a go yet and with the new blocks i'm sure i can get a good train done
I don’t even use world edit but I still want to watch this because of how well you teach it
Even if I have been using WE for several years, I often forget some uncommon commands, and these videos make me rediscover them.
Thank you. This really helps. I'm also, with the help of my friend, building and early 20th century Britain map.
With some inspiration from your buildings.
Oh very nice! It’s great to hear that more and more people are choosing this time period to build in! Well if you wanna share your progress with us and meet some like minded people then come on over to our discord
I'm building the railways and I usually use anvils as rails. Remember, if you want to add sleepers, you need oak, spruce or dark oak slabs instead.
This is the first tutorial that I have found that explained the convex tool and mixed masks well.
Thank you! I find they are some of the most useful commands when it comes to creating a realistic ground patten and railway alignment
Thank you for the video, i like the anvil and stone stairs tracks the most.
I would like to see more of this please!
this is a useful video I will definitely be saving for future use. Stone/andesite are good designs for survival. If I had a working iron farm I would use anvils
Most definitely! Anvils are too expensive really for survival and as I mentioned in the video they are hard to work with if there isn’t anything under them
I will build my server a little bit of you’re infrastructure ideas Dutch structures and mine designs :D
I have always wanted to know how you do your rails! Thank you !
Glad you like them!
Thank you wbc!
Any time! I enjoy making these little tips and tricks videos. If you have any requests for ones i should do in the future then let me know
Am at work but saved the video will watch it on my break might get some more inspiration
That is great to hear! Hope you enjoy it
Great and informative video, love it buddy.
Thank you! It was a fun one to make, really getting into the swing of these
Great video really helped me out! :)
Glad to hear it!
Hi there, I just wondered if you could build a British new build housing development. It would be pretty simple because most of the houses are exactly the same. I reccomend looking at a Bovis Homes development. Just make the houses look new and have things like a showhome with full interior and maybe a small part of it with an apartments.:)
That’s a great idea! Would be a nice little mix up of my normal building style (late Victorian) might give it a go in the future
You can actually simply select one block width worth of the rail, then do //copy and //br clipboard then u can simply just paint on ur black wool line one by one, each time ur rail length will increment by one block.
Bit late but what I usually do for railway tracks is have the same anvil arrangement put of spruces planks in between the 2 anvils and on the outside I have a slab or a stair of that same wood type
I found that using a mix of spruce and dark oak slabs for sleepers looked quite good on my heritage railway but you can't use hacks to copy and paste them because they're randomised.
That’s a great idea! I think there might be a way with world edit to replace the dark oak slabs with both dark oak and normal oak. I’ll give it a look
@@WBCBuilds ty I've been trying for ages.
Man, im waiting for the next video
Not filmed anything yet haha might be one on how to build canals
9:40 i loved how he missed a block when he said you need to go back and place it again if you a missed a block lol
i do like that design. but i do use anvils as my train track because at the time i thought it looks good enough but now that seen the stairs it looks better. also what sort of stuff did you use on the ground. ?
Well have a go and see how stairs turn out. The ground is made from coarse dirt, brown Mushroom block, brown concrete powder and granite
Can you do the curve without world edit? I can’t do mods on my laptop.
It's probably not a great way because i only just recently started mine craft. But i kinda figured out that if you take a row of three campfires and just connect a bunch of them in a line together and make the middle row face a different direction, it kinda looks like a wooden railroad track. Just wood since ya know. It's just a campfire. But after seeing this imma not do that since this is much better than what i imagined doing
Very good
Me and my friends are building a goofball city random builds but I actually want to make 1 thing from real life but we are playing in bedrock so if you could help with tips to do it in bedrock
I agree I normally build mine I used to build mine train tracks with animals but now I use stairs I can spam click them I can't do that with Annabelle's
I'm building Shyguy express from mario party 8 and this looks great for it
Must have been based in Thomas the Tank Engine.
-TTTE Fan
the //sel convex doesn't work for some reason
I also make tracks like this but I see you now and you also make tracks like this
what are the dimensions for The tracks?
For me Thats the
1520mm Broad Gauge Tracks
Im going to Add Another Railway tracks Design
Which is the Balastless Plinth Tracks
Instead of placing the Slippers Perpendicularly
It will be placed parallel to the tracks and letting the Plinth to hold it in place
The purpose if that is to reduce Vibration and Noise so No to
Clickety Clack Sound ever again.
Is world edit available in bedrock edition
Unfortunately not, I'm building an 1860s themed world on xbox and not having world edit, shaders, or mods makes it crap
Try and build a crash site with a train
Me: "This is the last video before I go to sleep"
Me at 3am:
I use anvils for rails
200:th like
12:00
I use normal rails 😅
OK this is over three years old but I’m going through ask discretion if you respond back to me, can I use spruce planks call making train Wells
Would those commands work on Xbox
Unfortunately you can only use these commands when using The world edit mod
WBC Builds can you get the mod on xbox
@@sosig1341 I don't think you can. I don't play Xbox or Bedrock versions of the game
I use the anvils
Never heard someone refer a turnout/switch as a junction
I’ve never heard of it being called a turnout before haha I would call it a point or a junction. I guess junction implies that it’s the joining of two lines together
I'm guessing that Coconut Crab is from the United States, and WBC Builds is from the United Kingdom, judging by the language.
@@SgtChip Yes, that would make more sense. Turnout isn't a word i would have in my vocabulary for this
How about the plinth tracks?
I’m not sure what you are asking here
@@WBCBuilds here some example:
www.mediafire.com/download/wsxfzgcr2ps6534
Shame u didnt the bridge in a tutorial
I think train stuck under bridge while crossing 😅😅😅😅
honestly i dont like the width being 2 times real life
How would you build them then?
@@WBCBuilds im a sucker for real dimensions so circa 1.5 m with two stairs in the same direction. will look alot worse of course
Hard manual labour...
As I said, labour of love haha! I think a train of yours got a little bit of airtime here
@@WBCBuilds I noticed! If you need a new express for that beautiful new mainline you made... just sayin' ;)
Might have to take you up on that offer... :P

Your curve is wrong based on craftyfoxe (the minecraft train master)
Okay?
@@WBCBuilds because craftyfoxe said if the 2 steel rails kinda touching together thats wrong
@@WBCBuilds idk if you have any idea about the Ballastless Plinth Track System
It sounds like you already know more than I on this topic of Minecraft railway building. Perhaps next time don’t come across as a pretentious viewer and try to impart your information through actual advice. Rather then these jabby comments
@@WBCBuilds im just saying the thing that craftyfoxe said about curves and switches because i only build rail track config in minecraft based on his ways and Grian's ways.
Because if i dont based to them
The curves can be incorrectly built
Now i stared buulding track curves based on craftyfoxe's ways and based on his measurements but track models are changing based on the Theme,
Weight, Conditions, Gauge
So thats why i based to him because he did alot of request even the hard ones
Like His:
- PT Inka CC300
- NYC MTA R188
- ČKD Tatra RT8D5
- E5 Shinkansen
- KTX-I
- 1000 class LRV
and etc.
All of that is really hard to build but he did.
