The loccitane ultra rich body cream has the 2 holes in because it’s a refillable tub. I bought that body lotion and it’s so underrated, it’s just nicely packaged shea butter. Nothing that you can’t get from nivea. I bought it thinking it was extra moisturising but it wasn’t. Ameliorate is the goat for smooth skin until the next time you shower, but it doesn’t smell great for the first few hours 😫.

Retinol is to be used at night. Then you make sure you use SPF in the day. You don't need to wait to use it. You can start using it straight away.

tret has changed my skin completely.. had acne since i was 12, started using before i turned 18 and my skin is so much smoother, less texture. im turning 19 next week and still dealing with acne scarring but im using vitamin c in the day for that and ive bought hydroquinone to see what itll do

Agree. Spending money on retinol related products that you can by on the shelf is pointless when you can spend less on prescription strength product that you only need a tiny amount of and don’t need to apply every night unlike shop bought products. I’m on tret 0.1 now and I couldn’t live without it.

You guys, the number after SPF is the number of minutes you can safely be in the sun. so SPF 30- you can be in direct sun for 30 minutes safely- etc :) so it's just depending how long you're outside - technically- you should always have some SPF on if you're outside at all even in between appointments, train rides etc
This is incorrect. The number means however long you could be in the sun without burning without SPF, times the number. So say I would burn after 10minutes usually, by wearing SPF 30, it would be 300 minutes by the time I burn. Obviously it’s not the number of minutes like you stated as everyone has different sun tolerance and could be anywhere in the world. You wouldn’t tell a person of colour in Russia that they can wear SPF30 for 30mins and a pale skinned person in the Sahara dessert that they can also wear SPF30 for 30mins.

Medik8 is also great but def use SPF 50 with it or you’ll get pigmentation on holiday. It doesn’t cause all the dryness and peeling that comes with retinol.
Curious, why is it good? Heat protectant spray is a consumerism scam product. Nothing will stop heat from getting to the hair. Would you spray it on your hand then put your hand in the oven? No, ‘cause your hand would still burn. Nobody can state a heat protectant is “good” as how would they possibly know it’s helped the hair from being damaged by heat, unless they only sprayed one half of their hair and none on the other half, for years, then examined both sides of the hair to see the difference. Don’t waste your money on heat protectant, use your money on hair masks that ste designed to make the hair strong and keep it nourished.
