Seasons of Love (EPIC cover) - ft. over 70 Musical Theatre professionals from across South East Asia

- We are musical theatre performers and musicians from a region known as South-East Asia. One of the most diverse regions on the planet. 10 countries representing all major religions - Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and many more indigenous beliefs. A region containing one of the most diverse language pools in the world, where even alphabet systems are totally different from one another. We perform musicals here in many languages, including Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Bahasa Malaysia, Thai, Vietnamese, Mandarin and English.
But Covid-19 has affected the whole region, and the world. The virus has decimated the performing arts in this region as well. No one is spared. Theatres have shut down. Performers, crew members, production companies, musicians, composers, writers, directors, costume makers, set builders, lighting operators, venue operators, and everyone else in the eco-system faces an uncertain future.
But this memorable anthem from Jonathan Larson’s hit musical ‘Rent’ gives us voice. A voice that says we are here standing side by side in our diversity. That we are not alone. That we will not leave anyone behind. That we will come together and face the future together. Not just as a collective or an industry or even a country. But as a region.
From our countries to yours, we send you our love and our voices. From this swirl of diversity that is South East Asia, our musical theatre performers and musicians are coming together like never before to send this song out to you - with one voice, with one heart, and with one language. The language of music.
It’s time now to sing out,
Though the story never ends,
Let’s celebrate remember a year
In the life of friends.
We will pull through this. We will meet each other again. And we can’t wait to bring you more exciting cultural and performing arts events. Until then, keep measuring your life in love.

Recorded in our homes during the lockdown periods of our countries. Even though we’re apart, we are still together. In music and in spirit. - Hudba
I'm Japanese.
My teacher showed me a movie in a junior high school music class. I still remember the excitement of hearing this song. This song became one of the most important songs in my life.
I grew up like the characters in the movie. I want to continue to live like these.
Thank you for your wonderful singing voice.
I'm sorry if my English is wrong🙇♂️
Your English is great! Keep at it ✊
A very beautiful song, indeed! ☺️

I LOVE THIS.. SOUTHEAST ASIAN REGION IS INDEED A MUSIC POWERHOUSE
One year later, the death toll from COVID in the US alone will surpass 525,600 -- one death per minute in the last year. This song brought that heartache home for me today. Sending love to all of you, around the world.
This deserves 525.600 views and more!

This so beautiful. I needed this in the current time we’re in. Everything is so scary right now. This really helped me.
Not only to hear so many talented voices come together to sing such a beautiful song to raise our spirits during hard times, but to see all South Asian countries represented here, as well as my country of Philippines. This makes me proud to be Filipino

คนไทยอยู่ไหนน้าาาาาา
better version although there are a couple of those who doesn't seem to take their vitamins
Filipinos have the best vocals...
i'm gonna be toxic and say... it wasn't bad
Good music. Great Asian artists. But too many performers. It shld hav been limited to 4 extra talented artists from every country . Aicelle Santos only appeared once n d frame. She deserve more than 1 appearance.
This is not about better exposure of individual artists but singing in solidarity at a time of pandemic and in being a voice for all theatre artists, musicians, and workers who are not working at the moment.
