  • Here is the 80cc ’Skyfall’ Micargi Hero 20 inch low rider cruiser motorized bike with build notes and commentary. The rear torque is insane until about 15-20 mph because of the smaller 20” tire and 44t sprocket
    (P.S. Did you catch the outtake? Lol! Caught me off guard!!)

    Gorgeous bike! Love the mini ape bars & banana seat. If I build a second one this will be it. Although I wish they'd put out a larger model with everything being a touch bigger (specifically the tires, even 24 would be nice).

    hmm i been wanting to do this to my lowrider . its pretty low to the ground and i have to use the smallest crank arms made to pedal it. but its a low rider lol it is 20" with a 26 " raked springer fork in the front . the frame i used is a mohawk frame from early 50s or 60s i could not find any info on it seeing how the company dont exist any more . but it wont work for this any way the bottom down tube in the frame swoops upwards not like the Schwinn stingrays . but i have a Dayton back rim on it not sure if i could bolt up to it or not . and its a 20 " bike . now i was under the idea that the frame had to be 24" or up to use one of these kit bike engines what mods did you do to use a 20 " frame?

      With the Hero? It shouldn't touch. Are you using the front engine mount adaptor? You should have clearance. If you don't want to adjust your engine, then you can chop your exhaust with a hacksaw or metal miter, or you can always purchase tie F2 thruster exhaust.

      @SouthernCustomCC  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for watching! The bike chain is a basic, single speed speed chain from Walmart. The motor chain is a 415. Don’t forget to have a chain breaker that fits whichever chain you are looking at replacing. Happy building.

    • @SouthernCustomCC
      @SouthernCustomCC  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey! Not sure if your looking for chrome or black, but just go to eBay and search ’beach cruiser front brake’ and you will see the wider front brakes that will clear front fenders. Reach is not as important...just width. A 102mm reach would work. Hope this helps!

    • @adaelm425
      @adaelm425 Před 4 lety +1

      Gearing, better carburetor, reed valves, high compression heads, but the biggest one is a real tuned expansion chamber, and not the bikeberry banana one. You want an mz65 expansion chamber

    • @SouthernCustomCC
      @SouthernCustomCC  Před 4 lety +1

      ibt222 : with the f4 you’ll have to address the sprocket fitting on the rear tire with all of the spokes that bike has. You may want to consider the cnc 36t rear sprocket for more top end.

      Honestly exactly what yall said is exactly what we are running into so i have put up a lil extra loot. What i thought would be my first lil cute fun build is sucking the live out of me during covid -19 / blm . My bank account is starting to matter. All i wanted to do was look cute in my 40s. Its taking way more loot than i thought. But i am starting to learn how to turn a wrench!

  • @eduardodiaz5762
    @eduardodiaz5762 Před 4 lety

    I don't mean to sound like I'm a hater, but all your bikes use the same Chinese HT motors. Id like to see you use a 49cc 2 stroke ktm or even a CR dirtbike motor
    Now that is a Motorized bike, those things can hit 75mph... These Chinese knockoffs barley hit 35, with slight modding you can hit 45mph tops.

    • @eduardodiaz5762
      @eduardodiaz5762 Před 4 lety

      Nice Bike though, not a hater just want you to start building the real motors. Again Great Bike build!

    • @SouthernCustomCC
      @SouthernCustomCC  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey Eduardo!: Thanks for continually being a part of the community! That is exactly the reason why I like these Chinese motors! If I wanted to go fast, I would just ride a motorcycle. These bikes...even the gasbikes with the tank in the frame aren't made for those type of engines. By the time you set the bike up to be safe enough for such a strong engine and those whisker blowing speeds, title, registration, DMV weekdays, and $$$ you have spent as much as you would have for a motorcycle. I like the cruising speeds these bikes offer @ 40ish for only a few hundred bucks. The goal is to find out how to make these knockoffs perform as best they can with the limits the engine has. I throw something new in the channel every now and again just for you! Thanks again!
