Newcastle United Fans Have Been Misled Over New Stadium Location

- This video evidences a number of key factors in relation to any new stadium build, on or near the Utilita Arena site in Newcastle. This comprehensive fact based research has never been done before and can only lead one to the inevitable conclusion that this is not a site that NUFC will be considering. This can only be fully understood, if all factors explained in the video have been taken as a whole.
Significantly, the brown site land is far too small for a stadium. Rudimentary measuring of the land will verify this through Google Earth Mapping software.
However, this isn’t the only problem…
For further information on Homes England and their plans for Quayside West, I’ve attached a link below.
A Government Housing and Regeneration Agency has been set up to accelerate housing projects as part of the national agenda of solving the housing crisis. The further sale of this land to an unrelated private sector business would lead to a public enquiry and a parliamentary committee investigation. For these reasons, this housing project will definitely go ahead and as can be seen by the evidence in the video, enabling work has already started.
Thank you for watching

Outstanding journalism Eddie - your diligence and graft puts the ‘professionals’ to shame. You have avoided the laziness which compels others to generate click-bait content based on rumours and whims, and instead have provided substantiated, well thought out and fact based reporting. Thank you. Keep it up mucker!
🙏
Great video Eddie. Keep up the great work. Best of luck 👍
Totally agree with your post.
I have learnt so much about our area thanks to Eddy
Actual fact-based journalism rather than lazy guesswork. Thanks for your time and effort Eddie. Great video.
👊🏻
You're putting journalists like Edwards to shame, absolutely outstanding work.
🙏👊🏻
I didn't know Edwards was a journalist 😂
As usual your citizen journalism vastly outstrips the half-arsed efforts of the so called professionals. Thanks for keeping us all well informed!
🙏
Great vid Eddy,
always a pleasure to watch and listen to you from Thailand
Absolutely class video!! So glad you’re back Eddie, thanks for all your hard work!! 😊
🙏👊🏻
Great video Eddie, there with the facts as always! 👏 For me I wasnt mad keen on this for a new stadium anyway so ill not lose any sleep after this!
Good to see you back Eddie. Your videos go way past the average fan channels. Really quality journalism.
Cheers Frank 👊🏻
Great video again Eddy. This is why your channel stands out above everything else. I've read various things and as you point out it's all speculation and full of inaccuracies. This puts to bed this area as a new stadium site. Cheers Eddy.
🙏👊🏻
As always Eddie, great piece of investigative work. Keep it up mate.
Fantastic work, Eddy! Putting some journalists to shame with your research and attention to detail!
🙏👊🏻
Thanks, Eddie. i said about this on other channels, good you're spreading the truth, no misleading or misinformation only facts here. I've been trying to tell people exactly this great video eddie.
🙏👊🏻
What a brilliant video Eddy!!! I think you might have poured some cold water on the imagination of few people. Seriously,....your diligent research is fabulous!
Cant wait to watch your next video.
We are United.
PennyXxx
Thank you Penny 🙏
Excellent information. Thanks for your work on this vital subject. Keep them coming.
My preference has always been a newbuild on Castle Leazes / Park. I guess time will tell.
👊🏻
It’s great to see Tyneside life back in action Eddie. Thanks for the fact finding. It is a bit of a dream to have a new stadium there I suppose.
Brilliant update, thanks for all your hard work in bringing us the facts, not fiction.
Keep up the good work!
👍🏻👊🏻
Very impressive and informative video Eddie. Full marks to you for carrying out thorough research.
🙏👊🏻
Pleased your back on line. Very good vlog and informative. Puts to bed false speculation. Big up to you and carry on with the real research.
Luke Edwards is from the Steve Bruce school of excellence! Certainly a method and logic in your approach to get an accurate representation of what is going on. Nice one eddie
👊🏻
great video eddie i remember something about nufc stadium being built in the town moor also in gateshead and newburn this was in the 1990s i think opposite the rvi dental hospital as well love watching you vids mate keep up the brilliant work
Hi Eddie, another excellent and informative video. Great work. It's a pleasure to have you back.
🙏👊🏻
Very informative Eddy, well done once again, keep up your good work my friend 👍
Good video Eddy, thanks for doing the research. For one I certainly wouldn’t buy a house on the site of an old lead works where the ‘problems’ of building have been ironed out by a government agency. I will not live long enough but I see some health related court cases in the future.
Hi Eddy, I think in an ideal world, that whole area including the Arena site etc. would have been a perfect location for the "Wembley of the North" but it's clearly unworkable as you have brilliantly uncovered. Great video mate and thanks for all that hard work and fact finding 😀
Cheers Ian 🙏👊🏻
Great Video, well researched, love the effort youve put into this series, keep up the good work my friend
Cheers bud 👊🏻👍🏻
Great to see you back Eddy and to the style of journalism that i started following you for. Well done
Cheers Kevin 👊🏻
Cracking video Eddie. Thanks for providing the facts rather than the dreams we get sold from other channels/media outlets. Keep it going mate 👍
My pleasure Chris 🫡
Top journalism as always Eddie.
Cheers pal
Great video Eddy, please keep them coming. Sadly I'm not convinced the average Geordie will let these facts ruin whatever narrative they're convinced by.
Hi Eddy thanks so much for sharing the facts. I am hedging my bets that the New stadium will expand into Leazers park. At the same time the park will be developed….therefore making it a win, win for both Newcastle United and the local conservation group who quite rightly see the potential benefits of the development of Leazers Park.
So glad to see you back at it Eddy. As usual an outstanding video, well done mate.
👊🏻
Another well researched and informative video Eddie - well done!
Thank you Alan. 👊🏻👍🏻
Excellent piece of factual journalism your work deserves an award. Good luck in your future works. From a VILLA supporter.👍
Cheers Sara 🙏👊🏻
Thanks Eddie. Very informative as always. Love your update.
Has any ever talked about making Barrack Road and underpass and move the stadium on top and to left towards Pitt Street which leaves Leazes terrace as is!?
Yes, me mate, in a previous video about 18 months ago. 😅
Didn’t go into specifics about Barack Rd as it bay not need to be touched but moving the stadium NW around 30m or so
Class once again Eddie mate, was a pleasure seeing you at the Metro last week 😂👍🏼
I bump into people all the time, which Metro? 😅
Always thought that access to that site would be a major problem. Centre for Life and nearby hotels can't be shifted so road network can't really be altered much, so would be absolute chaos on a match day down there. Leazes Park and Castle Leazes is definitely the best option for me
Brilliant Eddy well researched and presented. Your keeping the so called professionals honest well done!
Cheers Graham 🙏👊🏻
Well done another great video so glad your back
As all your vlogs are Eddie, very informative dealing only in facts and not conjecture. Thank you 🙏 once again. 👊👌👍
Very interesting as usual Eddie. Well done.
Another factual and researched video.
Keep up the great work Eddy
Well done Eddy, a fact finding and research masterclass in all 5 vlogs so far, if not the arena sites then a compromise has to be found to rebuild in Castle Leazes 👍👍
👊🏻
Nice to see evidence of the Government actually doing something about the housing crisis
Great information fella. Nice to hear factual news rather than media lazy speculation. Well done fella 👍
👊🏻
Great work Eddie. I’d much rather be home at st James. It’s exciting that things are actually going to happen very soon we’ve just got to embrace it whatever that may be. We are in a much better place now as a club and I’m sure our owners have our best interests at heart. HWTL
At last the facts ! Great video and glad you`re back !
👊🏻
Fantastic content as always Eddie 👏
fantastic video mate keep up the great work 👍
Great to see too back eddie very informative 👍
great video Eddie, if we really cant stay or expand st James, this was my number 1 choice for a location, close to all the city centre links, shame the so called Professional Journalists couldnt put the effort in you did
@Eddie - always impressed by your work 👏🏼 thank you
🙏👊🏻
Very factual Eddie. One of your best.
Thank you! Wish every fan would watch this rather than the clickbait vloggers who jump on any rumour
The worst are the people who call themselves CZcamsrs/vloggers but decide to have a sulk when the Toon lose and won't post their videos, even when they have nothing else to do with their time. The younger generation has gone soft in a big way.
Whenever I hear news like this I ALWAYS wait for you to do a video on the subject as I know im always going to get facts and the full story, not just some sensationalized rubbish made for clicks and views. Always appreciate your work Eddie, great to have the channel back in my feed.
Cheers Craig 👊🏻
Great video Eddie. Normally rate Luke Edwards as a journalist but he’s really dropped a bollock here and it’s great that you’ve done the research and backed up your assertions with facts.
Great information Eddie and well presented. Makes me scared that if we move it will be outside of the City 😥. Come on the design experts keep it at SJP please.
They can’t move out of the city without majority fan approval. That’s PL regulations, so don’t worry about that 👍🏻
always thought that land was too small - people underestimate how big saint james park is. and just because lands there doesn't mean you can get it. and when Newcastle come in for it the price will go silly. informative vid thanks
Eddie, before I started to watch, I had a view about the lead works site from personal knowledge wrt “ contaminated land” From the nature of the previous use, before any residential use could be granted, ground and soil will have to be checked for contamination and if found, removed. They have a big job on their hands so not surprised they have started surveys and expect some deep drilling of bore holes at some point.
That’s all been done in previous years David. They’re ready to go
Well done, this video is very informative, thankyou for your hard work.
🙏👊🏻
Nice one mate - too many vloggers are resorting to half arsed speculation to boost their channel
Immediately liked 😊
Mmh all those facts on Friday. What a way to end the week. Love it 🖤🤍
I hope St. James’ will stay in the current area.
😃👍🏻
Very interesting Eddie , I’d love us to stay at St James Park and develop our stadium but also understand the disruption that would cause but it’s unique location like no other 🍻🍻🍻🍻
You don't just throw these videos together!! Great research and presentation, as usual👍
Takes ages 😅
THIS is good juornalism Eddie. Keep it going.
Glad you’re back at Eddie!
Excellent video and great work Eddie - This series is very informative
Thank you 🙏
For me, nothing can replace St James's Park. The history, location and pride in the Cathedral on the Hill is irreplaceable.
Outstanding video Eddie, informative and factual with some very cool videography to boot. I always enjoyed your excellent local history videos much more than your "it's all kicking off" with visiting fans on matchday videos.
That kind of sensationalist content is a race to the bottom, so it's great to see you applying your talents to this kind of journalistic endeavour instead.
Cheers bud. 🙏👊🏻
You’re definitely right about being a race to the bottom.
Great video Eddie, very difficult to argue with facts. If only all journalists would check things before writing their stories.
👊🏻👍🏻
Fair play to you for putting the effort in!
First time I saw the site on Google it was obviously far too small. It really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Thanks for the great work you do!
🙏👊🏻
Nice video Eddy, thank you.
Eddie is back! Great vid mate✊👍👍
👍🏻👊🏻
Seems that has put to bed any arena area talk, which is good. A little too far out. Though a new stadium in the city is the only way ahead IMO and sets us up for the future/more financial prospects for the whole area. Anything less will be a huge setback. I believe they will likely build on the site where SJP already is/possibly make a deal with the Leazes Park interests.
Thank you. Very informative.
Cheers Eddy. Very informative.
Excellent journalism, Eddie.
🙏👊🏻
You’re a top man Eddy and a great source of information. Thanks for the videos 👍
🙏👊🏻
I've always thought this site looked far too small. You've just confirmed it for us all.
Nothing like finding out the truths well done eddy top man!
Hi Eddie, great journalism. 🤝
🙏👊🏻
Great work Eddy, stamping on the myths that we all just believe.
This is very informative. Well done for finding facts rather than rumours and speculation. Glad you are back!
This is a really good video eddie really good in depth research keep it up m8
👊🏻
Really well explained and very interesting 👍
I 2nd what everyone else has said about this video. I'm not gutted at all.
I would much rather it be built closer to the existing St James' Park on the Leazes Moor.
Build a new super stadium 🏟 with up to 90 + thousand seats.
That would be my wish 🤞
Thoroughly investigated mate, very comprehensive journalism so give ya sel a pat on the back Eddy lad❤
Thank you 🙏
That's what I have always liked about your videos. Investigation! All the others just read the chronicle etc and repeat it as first hand news, pointless. Keep it up !
Thank you David 👍🏻👊🏻
I love facts Eddie.
Another cracking video 👍🏻
👊🏻
Great bit of work Eddie. Glad we're not moving there
This is the kind of insight we need. Thanks Eddie.
I’m still a little disappointed that this is not an option. I think it was the perfect sight for showcasing a state of the art stadium on the banks of the Tyne. I think it’s the homes England element that is the final straw.
Cracking work Eddy!! Im please dont wanna be down therr St James park needs to be a fortress where it is standing now and nowhere else!!!! Top work though keep it up great stuff
Hello, you might want to look at Newcastle Race Course and the surrounding land the ‘Ruben’s’ own it…just a thought……keep up the good work…great stuff mate..
That definitely ain’t happening Jon but thanks for the message 👍🏻
Great information Eddy.
Hey Geordie, great to hear from you! I’m heading to Lyneham for a week in the summer. Would be great to see some of the old crew. Drop me an email bud 👍🏻
Great video. Knew that land was too good to be true . Think the arena option is the best option if the park can't be used.
The Arena option?
@TynesideLifeNews yes build on where the arena is at the moment but with it being so close to future homes I can see there being issues at some point. All fun and games, see what happens
Great video, I hope they rebuild where it already is I don't like the idea about it being in Gateshead and they can't take the strawberry pub with them.
Superb work Eddie, sadly I believe if Newcastle are to grow into the world class club that we all want, I think a new Stadium is an eventuality at some point, I absolutely love SJP and I'll be sad to say goodbye to it, not sure when that will be but I'm certain it will eventually happen.
It’s the where that’s the tricky part…
Eddie great to see you back on the hunt for the truth also the nice to see the lady willing to have a conversation with the owners, will help her wish to upgrade leases park site, also added extra content on landowners on Tyne and future planning. Activity, your videos better than the Chronicle or BBC Look North keep them up
🙏👊🏻
Fantastic video built around facts instead of just click bait.
Good to hear facts rather than speculation. I think the claim of 1100 home being populated in 3 years is beyond far fetched though. Gauging by the larger sites I've worked on that site is still years away from even starting to build superstructures. When they finally do get going you'd be looking at completing between 60-100 units per year depending on how well it's managed, supply chains and how many trades are available at the time.
I'd love to hear more about the new proposed arena/hotel complex and find out what the new plans are, Eddie. That would be a great video.
Thanks for the great info Paul 👍🏻 il do a video on the new Arena soon
