WHat is GOMA?
Join us as we visit our favourite gallery in Brisbane - the Gallery of Modern Art (called 'GOMA' by the locals). It's the largest gallery of modern and contemporary art in Australia!
GOMA can be found in South Bank - next door to the State Library of Queensland and the Queensland Museum. It's FREE to visit, although sometimes they have a special exhibition which may have an entry fee. The Cultural Centre Bus Stop is within walking distance as is the South Brisbane Train Station. If you have time, pay a visit to the Queensland Museum and State Library (both FREE) and take a walk across our favourite bridge....Kurilpa Bridge!

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Ok, our timing wasn't great - what with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global economic turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
