Hello sir, It is very informative and useful. I am trying to solve the simulation for a cylindrical cell, but I am having difficulty understanding how to proceed. If you could please upload or perform the simulation for the cylindrical cell, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
Hello sir The specific heat cp is in KJ Kg-1 K-1 in the properties shown initially, but your are supplying the values in J Kg-1 K-1 in FLUENT. How would if affect the solution?
Thank you for your feedback. Sure, we are now completing the fuel cell simulations for its elementary playlist. If you wish to receive any specific subject or topic in the field of "Fuel Cell Simulation", please let us know to consider it for its advanced playlist.
hi sir, I have some question about that process. 1. How to determine or calculate heat transfer coefficient of PCM in other situation.(ex. other PCM materials) 2. When you set up active component, you set the values of UDS-0, UDS-1, why do you do this?
Sir, I had follow all the step in this video. As I run calculation there are error "Error access:unbound variable;Eroor Object:set-var!", what can I do to solve the error. Appreciate!
Hello Sir, I tried to perform this simulation for a 1p3s module. My calculations is automatically stop in mid way (at 2nd time step) by showing "User-defined stop condition is reached!" in console. Pls help me.. What should I need to do? Is there any way I can solve this problem by adjusting the maximum minimum voltage?
Dear, thanks, no, this is a sample of PCM cooling, because the battery specifications does not match a real-world model. So, for validation process, you just need to select an available battery model in the market.
HELLO FRIEND , i have a doubt.. yes PCM absorb heat when it reach a particular temperature in battery,,, so the battery temperature is maintained,,, but this absorbed heat get rejected immediately when the surrounding temperature is less than melting point,,, the surrounding composed of battery itself,, so that again heat up the battery ,, right ?
We have defined a report plot of cell temperature and pcm temperature. So, by going to the reports we can plot them together over time. Hope you find it well.
Sir, my calculations is automatically stop in mid way (at 4th time step) by showing "User-defined stop condition is reached!" in console. Pls help me.. What should I need to do?
You can do the follwoing: -reduce the C-rate -increase the cell capacity -change the minimum/maximum stop voltage -reduce time step size In this way you can have a longer simulation time.
Hi, thanks for the video. I’m trying to model a melting and solidification of a pcm in a tube with heat transfer fluid. Do you know how I can set the initial temperature of the pcm before running the simulation?
Hi, if the model is simulated in the ambient air, you can consider a Temperature value of 298 K, and a heat transfer coefficient of 5 w/m2.K. But depending on your material and environmental conditions, these values may defer.
@@NzeDede Hey, I am also working on a simulation of melting/solidification of PCM by flowing hot water in a tube and filling the adjacent space surrounding the tube with PCM. But I'm running into some errors. How can I get in touch with you?

hello, do you know why the cell_zone wall is not detected for the temperature report plot? everything else is detected
Hi, make sure that you have defined it as wall/solid.
when i simulate the 18650 lithium-ion battery, I am getting 5000k temperature. I don't know what was the problem.
