Whale-Watching Activities in the Banc-des-Américains

The Banc-des-Américains marine protected area on the Gaspé Peninsula is home to several species of marine mammals every year. It is an essential feeding ground and migration route to and from the St. Lawrence Estuary.
The Banc-des-Américains MPA is located at the eastern end of the Gaspé Peninsula, in the extension of the Pointe de Forillon. It covers an area of around 1000 km2. The Banc-des-Américains is a marine protected area jointly created by the Canadian and Quebec governments.
