I'm glad you liked Monday's not coming home! I can see why it's popular and even worth a reread but I didn't like the plot twist :')
I still haven't read Tessa Dare. It sounds interesting but I'm pretty sure that I won't enjoy it if you haven't.
I'm so behind on consuming book content, I was able to catch up with some books from last year though! Hopefully June will be a good month, hope you enjoy the upcoming summer reads as well🐢✨️🌈

Oh, that’s a pity! I loved that plot twist. It’s very Shutter Island (?). That movie with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Also, same! I’m behind 15 books on my goodreads🥲 I’m telling myself that I’ve been genuinely really busy this year.

Oh, i'm loving the eye makeup!
So far i've read Dead Silence and Peter Darling. Both amazing and i highly recommend them.
Dead silence is a sci-fi horror about a ghost cruise ship in space. Like if the movies Ghost Ship and Event Horizon had a baby, with a bit of the Sixth sense thrown in the mix.
Peter Darling is about trans Peter Pan returning to Neverland in his 20's and falling in love with Hook. It was so good on the enemies to lovers vibes. Third book i've read from Austin Chant, and all three books are great.

I’m bumping up Peter Darling on my tbr. Will try to read it on my vacation. I crave a good enemies to lovers!
Dead Silence is probably not for me BUT other people might see this. BTW I saw this book you might like. It’s called Briardark and the premise is a bit like The Blair Witch Project.

@@BooksWaffles ohhhh that sounds interesting! I’ll add it to the list!
And yeah, I wouldn’t recommend Dead Silence to you, it’s pretty ghostly and spooky.

It’s severely under hyped imo!! I need to dig into Alice Feeney’s backlist.

Oh my, i've recently read Muscles & monsters by Ashley Bennet because i read the second one in the series (Tentacles & triathlons) and enjoyed it, it was cute, but, girl, the first one was... very weird 😂. Because the main male interest is a wolf, not a werewolf and you know, it was disturbing at the sex scenes which i decided to just not read them after a couple of them because it was kind of beastiality? Ugh, no. With the kraken, i dont know, it was more of a monster, but this was a canine, and no. Just no. LOL.
A good one was Glitterland by Alexis Hall, it was good, it hurts a little but it was very good!

The title alone is something hehe I think monster romances are all at best xenophiliac in nature borderline beastiality but we really don't talk about it because it makes everyone uncomfortable. I haven't read enough to have an actual opinion because it's mostly m/f romance and I don't prioritize it.

    Should* (in title)
