- The Homegoing Service of Bishop Sydney Alexander Dunn, Presiding Bishop of Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic), established in 1957. His sudden transition to glory occurred on the morning of the first day of the Holy Convocation, Sunday, 23rd July 2017.
His homegoing celebration commenced for 3 days, Monday 22nd - Wednesday 24th August 2017

I remember going to a funeral in Birmingham in 1987 from Bedfordshire..and Bishop Dunn spoke for the funeral service.. and as he was talking .. it felt like God just turned up in the place.. I felt a committed individual.. I've never had that feeling since... a special servant.. RIP.. that was the 1 time I heard him preach and ... he swept me off my feet.. 🕊

Memorial prayers and blessings are celebrated with giving God thanks, for a heritage of ‘grace and mercy’ teachings, by the late Right Honourable Presiding Bishop S.A. Dunn, of Birmingham, England, as he would have been 100 years old, on 12th October 2021, during Black History Month.
Goodbye bishop Dunn, you never met me but I have followed your ministry on and off over the years. I admired you alot. I'm not everything that the lord wants me to be, but by you I'm inspired. Rest in peace bishop Dunn, my love to you and your family. Bishop you did a sermon years ago when you sang the song ' I love you jesus, and I love your name' and with this song you ushered in the anointing. I watched that service clip on CZcams and it touched me deeply. Rest in peace. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered. Amen.

the greatest man I know... truly anointed. As I child I was mesmerized by Bishop S A Dunn, his preaching would grab your full attention. No one comes close to what we were truly blessed to have.
