No comments? Gotta be one of the coolest tracks ever, from DnB's golden era
Speaks for itself..true say 💜 Peace Si
Agreed! 😍😍
Omg takes me back to the best years of my life, yet at the time I didn’t realise 😢 carefree, easy, and everyone was here loving life ❤ years on they’ve gone, life’s not the same, the music is the same but hits different cause certain people aren’t here 💔
Aaaarrgggghhhhh....fuck yeah....this and piano.......sums up that era for me.......i was so fucking late to the party, 10 years tbf,id give my left nut to have experienced it as it was happening, fuuuccckkk i was listening to copied tapes, playing them until you could hear both sides at once....you've just got to believe there is love and happiness... jungle, d&b is....
Life.........thank you peshay.....you shaped me...not just you but you don't even know.......what a tune......2023...i hope im still c.in.my.pants un another +20 years...❤❤❤
Peshay literally leading the game with Vocal Tune and Piano Tune. Huge track's back then, stood the test of time. Top post. X
The whole Good looking records crew played a set at the Winter Gardens in our shit, culturally-deprived town in '97...such good memories, we all piled down the beach with Bukem, it was filmed by channel 4 but they didn't use but a few seconds of the footage...a fucking amazing night, though.
vollsticks Such a wicked memory to have, wish it was the same now
Cheesy Gandalf Yeah it was a fucking fantastic night. It's a North East Lincolnshire town--really culturally bereft but there's always been a strong hip-hop (since the early 80's) and drum n' bass scene.
Our local promoter got some wicked acts down. The Scratch Perverts played here twice--second time he booked the Moving Shadow crew to play downstairs at a local venue, Scratch Perverts were upstairs. Kind of felt sorry for the Shadow guys, everyone was upstairs bar, like, ten hardcore d n' b heads. I popped downstairs when The Perverts finished their sets (they did group and solo routines, and I'm a hip-hop head through and through, although Timeless blew my mind and got me into "intelligent" d n' b...couldn't get with dem skinny jeans, tho ;) ) but Moving Shadow only played for another 20 minutes.
Yup, for a bumfuck decrpit ex-massive fishing port town, we had some fucking legends play out here!
Sounds like you had it good back then, wish I could learn more about the dnb scene around the north west
Yeah it was great times. One of our local turntablists got to the national finals in the DMC's...I know that's a hip-hop thing but we had some great local d 'n b DJ's too. Cheers mate!
C4 have my vote as the shittest channel on TV. And there's a lot of shit TV channels
The best jungle track by far. Very admirable space between sounds, light atmosphere and pure motion
Genius... the synth and the electric piano...perfect melodies combination in the jungle drum and bass... And India from Love and Happiness (MAW) screams like crazy
absolutely, bonafide classic.
Just the thought of trying to plug that percussion into something like Ableton these days...it fries my brain! Soooo ahead of its time back in the 90s, and 100% stood the test of time. I'll forever love this masterpiece X
One of the most amazing tunes ive heard in a while. WOw amazing !!!!
Just fuckin awesome one of the best along with photek rings around Saturn
i love this voice
Atrax it's india
I miss music like this so much, that I said fuck it and started learning FL to try and make some myself. Hopefully eventually it'll come back, it's perfect for running along to
I'll help you with that. It is also my target to create music like that in my future. (I made some different styles of music you can search dubmosphere on soundcloud so you can listen to my sound, sound design everything by me and most of the tracks are composited by me^^). I never mastered a track and most of them are not finished but it is for fun. But what I actually wanted to say is that old school jungle is just what I love the most (and forever did and will do) and we should start doing sound like that to bring it back to live...
5 years later and i am really curious if you made some music i wanna listen it!
@@ABHAYAMUDRAA Funnily enough, it never caught on, but I started drawing instead. Got a decent following for it aswell on twitter, although I still do think about making music sometime
Found her on Instagram, trouble is I am shy.

River Ocean feat. India - Love and Happiness
Without any credit 👎🏻
Best remix!
Drum n bass was not very generous on crediting samples, to be fair. Even when they were as well known as this one.
Up up upvote! Thanks for introducing me to this.
The Bomb

I've always loved this track but could never make out the vocals when she says: "I want to let the world know, THAT YOU....____________?"

JUNGLE.
Aural chocolate.
Great tune!
Although, under the definition of fair use (which you've posted), you can't just republish other peoples content, in full and in it's original form. There's no additional commentary, critique or anything in this video, it's just the full original track, so it's not fair use it's just piracy/re-publishing.
Under "fair use" you're only allowed to publish as much of the original work as is required in order for you to be able to add the additional critique, educational value, reporting, comment or whatever it is you're using it for within your own work. So you could use a section of the track in order to talk about it in an educational context, but you'd only use the section of the tune that you needed to use in order to make the point. Or, if you were doing a video on music history, you could use part of the tune so people know what track you're talking about. Both of those examples would be "fair use" of the original work within a new work that falls under one of the permitted categories (education, reporting, satire, research etc). But this isn't your own original content, it's someone elses and you've brought nothing additional to it at all.
Still a great track though, but the video description about fair use is pointless and misleading.
Oh boy we got another yapper here 😭
