  • First time reacting to KAZKA. They are a band from Ukraine that does pop with some electro-folk. Very unique genre combination. Enjoy my reaction of Плакала (Cry) and let me know if I should react to more songs by KAZKA in the future!

    thank for reaction,
here is correct lyric of the song:
I will escape from your words - and I will be alive
For the year of your insults I will not make a price
Burning, bridges burning, and the sea of tears
But know, this is my game
    Less words, more business
I will save at least my body from your arrows
I drove under the ice, I will not find my soul
It hurts, oh how it hurts and blood boils
And my daughter is no longer asleep
    Less words, more business
    [Chorus:]
I cried and stop, violet blossomed
The day shone with mysterious signs
And young mother, and my little sweetheart
In the kitchen, everyone cried the same way
The night was gone, in the morning everything turned gray
I have to find new colors
And I wash my face with rain. What else is needed?
Let my heart be under the cloak
    Less words, more faith
    [Chorus (4x):]
I cried and stop, violet blossomed
The day shone with mysterious signs
And young mother, and my little sweetheart
In the kitchen, everyone cried the same way

This song is much deeper than it might seem at first glance. She talks about the difficult fate of all womens (that's why in the clip we see women of all ages, from small to old), who, despite life's difficulties, are obliged to find new meanings in their lives for the sake of their children. So, the song is not just about love or breaking up a relationship, but about breaking up an abusive relationship. Phrases: "I will save even my body from your arrows", "I will save myself from your words", "I drove under the ice, I will not find - my soul" - speak of systematic mental and physical violence against a woman. And despite the pain of a failed relationship (and we know how difficult it is for a victim to leave a relationship with an abuser), she understands that she needs to find "new colors" (new meanings) in life for the sake of her child's happy future. After all, when a mother is happy, her child is happy too.
I did the translation through google translator, so I apologize for my English))

Так, це про кохання. Не взаємне кохання. Але, тепер коли йде війна, ця пісня набрала нового значення. Так, сказала сама Олександра. Дчкую за реакцію❤️🇺🇦👋

Greetings from Scotland! For me, this is one of the deepest videos I have ever seen! For me, I believe it represents all the tears cried by the women who have been hurt and will keep on being hurt, all ages all over the world. It has a message that no matter what you have been through, you should move on and not be controlled by the pain and heartbreak it caused you. I appeal to the lead singer (opening shot) Aleksandra Zaritska to please tell me what she meant to convey in this song. So powerful!

That's a very deep message. I agree with you that no matter what you may be going through in the past, today, or tomorrow, keep moving forward cause holding it in just causes more pain. There is always a better day ahead.

Greetings again! IF you get some time Ryan, I would love a reaction to Kazka singing "I am not OK" czcams.com/video/MGgDdU1BYsA/video.html If you do a reaction, I caution that you may want to scan through this video before posting it because it's possibly going to get unwanted attention from haters due to the sensitive and extremely deep meaning. It's a very emotive subject.

The lyrics in the song's subtitles have nothing to do with the original Ukrainian song text. Those are nice lyrics but are not the direct translation.
