I really like this family. It's important that inclusive environments exist and that people, especially children, are heard. Their voices mean so much, and too often, we fail to listen. This was a really important effort to make the Mansfield family feel welcome and included.
I'm not crying, you're crying...yeah...OK...I'm crying.
Her face when Tink signs to her is just heartwarming, along with when Minnie tells her she's learning to sign.
Heart strings are pulled. :)
Reminds me of Miracle on 34th street, when the mother told Santa that he did not have to talk to her, she just wanted to see him. He knew exactly how to “speak” with her. Thats how you knew he was real.
Yes they all know how to sign all the Disney fairies Tinkerbell, Fawn, Periwinkle, Terence, Rosetta, Vidia, and Manning Joy
Disney does so many great things for so many people! Their magic is meeting people where they are.
I wish those people who don't believe in Disney Magic, could see this video. It's lovely. ❤️
Been to Disney 3x and I can confirm it is a magical place.
Must learn HAVE A MAGICAL DAY
My grandmother was born deaf. This means a lot.
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!! and i love that disney isn't using this as a self promo. they aren't saying: "come to the parks to experience this kind of magic." they are just showing us that they care about you no matter what. no matter who you are.
A lot of their cast members do know ASL too which makes this all the much better. There’s a video of Anna signing VERY fluently
It’s nice how Minnie is trying to learn sign language
Disney needs no words to be Magical !!
I love this it very inspiring I love all the effort you put into this
Wow I love Disney
Now we know, that the eyes are the window of our souls 🤍🌹
Interested in learning :)
I just learned about Shaylee she’s on our Wikipedia homepage. This is another reason to make me love CZcams because it helped people like her and she’s just telling Christmas stories with sign language.
Oh my word that’s so beautiful I’m not crying at all but balling my eyes out. Everyone wants to be understood and be loved unconditionally.
I have never had to live in that world, but I do remember one magical moment I had at the former MGM Studios... ...there was this Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show. All of the characters and performers were spot on, but I noticed a cast member in the front row. She was using sign language with a guest. But it was different... ...that cast member was SINGING!!! How?!? How could she sing using sign language?!? It was so incredibly amazing, that I think I watched her perform the songs for the remainder for the performance. That was almost 25 years ago, and still amazing.
This brought a huge smile to my heart!
I love how the folks at Disney really make EVERYBODY'S time at the resorts special😎🌴🇺🇸⚽
That is the most magical moment, when characters can communicate with a child and their face lights up in surprise and excitement 😭
This video touched me deeply. I know the struggle is real! We all come from different backgrounds and feel like we are left behind. I have a sister with special needs and all I can say is that Walt Disney World is the only place in the world where she feels she can be herself, she feels safe, accepted and welcomed and all of the cast members treat her with respect and make sure she has a magical day! I have been going to Disney World since 1982 and I have learned from Walt Disney’s values through his life, career, works and parks. His legacy is still alive thanks to all the cast members that believe in the Disney magic! Every time I go, I see all the cast members doing their best to provide guests the best experience ever!! Love you guys, keep it up!❤️
I am someone who has Albinism so I have low vision. Legally blind. Disney World has found a special place in my heart because of the cast members. They understand and are always there to help me out. Whether that means getting a closer seat to a stage or not being in the sun too long during lines. Disney has found that special place in my heart. Thank you Disney Cast members for everything you do for me and others of any disability! We love you all so much. Us probably more than others. Your are the ones who truly bring us the magic we won't be able to expirence otherwise. Again thank you. Can't wait to see you this November.
And I have learned a little bit of ASL (American Sign Language) myself! Have been able to communicate a little bit. It's not great and it's been a while.
Thank you for sharing 🕊️

You can remember when you went to disneyland the happiest place on earth
I wish i would be there
As a cast member returning to work at Disneyland, this makes me want to learn ASL to bring those magical moments to families!
Wonderful commercial. I wish the best to Shaylee and her family.
My girlfriend is deaf, she will go to Disney world for first time.
🙂☺😊😘
Wow, it's awesome to say and show "I love you" to everyone who uses silent language. Stay safe everyone!
🥺
If i wanted to work at disneyland paris would i need to be able to speak
French and english? Or just french? Or just english? Just a question :/
both
K thx!
I went to Disneyland Paris last summer (2019) and all the staff members we met spoke French and at least some English. Just because there’s so many people with both languages that come. I would say probably both or at least a pretty good understanding of the second language.
👍🏿❤🏰😭
Early!
she is the same girl who appeared at Noelle, isn't she? :3
No
Yes, she is!
:)

Dang never knew cast members were taught basic ASL
Time to "Let Go" of the Face Coverings!! In American Sign Language, facial expressions are an important part of communication. The facial expressions you use while doing a sign will affect the meaning of that sign. For example, if you sign the word "quiet," and add an exaggerated or intense facial expression, you are telling your audience to be "very quiet."
No disney cares about keeping us safe we all need to us a mask when in public until there is a vaccination and or a treatment.
might not be for a very very long time
Wait, how does an entire family only speak in sign language? I get one of them, But how does all of them?
What do you mean?
J Grey Like how does an entire family speak only in Sign language? And only it?
Everyone but the youngest is deaf. They learn the language like any language is taught to your children as they grow up.
Sarah Barfoot yea but what are the odds that almost the entire family is deaf? That would be one hell of a coincidence
@@evanorsomething909 I mean I saw a documentary on a family like that. But it would be the same as if a whole family that hears
Me too deaf..
Spical needs people get job Disneyland or Disney word
