This was one of my favorite games as a kid. I must have beaten it a hundred times! So weird looking back and realizing that the games I spent YEARS playing only had about 2 hours of story content haha

When this game came out, I was a bit put off by its retaining of _Die Another Day's_ shortcomings. Invisible cars, overtly science fiction elements, John Cleese as Q. But despite its hangover from the movie, the game overall has a great story that almost serves as the epic conclusion to the original movie series that we never got, even going as far as putting Bond against a successor to a classic villain of the Roger Moore era. Of course, the final levels of saving the Kremlin has not aged well in modern times. But considering that Bond was originally envisioned as a Cold War spy going up against the Soviets, it seems ironical and yet fitting that he prevents the resurrection of the USSR by thwarting an invasion of the Kremlin.
"Of course" nothing. Saying that something "has not aged well in modern times" is a purely superficial and detracting way of pointing out how it represents the era in which it was made, a factor that should never be considered an imperfection. There's a difference between something "not aging well" and an audience refusing to meet it on its own terms. "Modern times" are irrelevant here. Those last levels reflect how James Bond regularly went on missions to stop the Cold War from heating up in the older films. In fact, I'd argue that said levels have aged perfectly, considering that the ex-KGB agent who is now President of Russia is continuing the work of his organization, albeit under a different name, and trying to restore the USSR. As for listing John Cleese as a "shortcoming," you just don't do it.

Whoever programmed the falling down the cliff part must be the most evil trash human being in existence. Even if I make it it says mission failed. I feel nothing but hate for the guy who programmed that section, especially since the rest of this game is absolutely outstanding. Just makes no sense.
Ya never really know but when Katya Nadanova without bulletproof/bullet resistant armor vest meets Bond the 2nd, 3rd, 4th as well as 5th time she's probably like you'll never have enough bullets 2 kill me Mister Bond/I'm far 2 strong 💪/tough 😤 4 your Walther's bullets Mister Bond no matter how many/much of them ya empty in2 my chest right to the point where he shoots her multiple/several times in the chest with that same Walther P99 she cackles at him like a hyena & continues cackling after/when getting hit in the chest torso by every round/more than every round from Bond's Walther P99 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
