Myrtle beach is slowly becoming a Miami so many things have been happening, new resorts, growth, clear water at times, warmer weather, and traffic but it will always be unique in its own way

I’m excited about visiting here this May! I booked a 2 bedroom premium suite. I think the prices now are as low as they will ever be.. as it getting more expensive closer to summer.

Well thats a beautiful place to say the least. everything you want and great beach area. it will be interesting to see this again during the summer time and see just how crowded it really is. be interesting to see the prices too. im sure 400-500 per night. thanks for sharing. really nice place. Right now this prices were surprisingly reasonable to me. However this is a slow dip after spring break so I'm sure they will go sky high in the summer.
Yes these are soft opening prices most of the rooms are suites with 2-4 bedrooms so it gets expensive.
Such a Beautiful place lost the exteriors and the aesthetics of the place so elegant and very modern with a hint of vintage with outside structure and not bad prices on certain things and very reason stay prices which this year i'll be staying at the Camelot By The Sea in October for 1213 sunday-sunday (If y'all can would y'all do a review on that place and The Holiday Sands North on the boardwalk some time please) Love y'alls channel going on my third year as a subscriber and loyal viewer y'all are amazing

Definitely a beautiful property! Just so expensive to go to any beach destination during the summer, the rates are sky high. We don’t have the opportunity to go during the off season.
That's too bad. The off-season is definitely our favorite time here.
We thought they were going to share amenities also, but it doesn’t seem like they are. Treating them as two separate resorts. I thought it was going to be South Beach Oceanfront Resort. They are calling it Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort. We are heading to South Beach the end of September. I guess we will find out more about it at our owners update.

Carmen and Brian, thank you for the sneak peek! Just curious, were the patio/bar/pool area only open to non-guests because of the grand opening? Or will moochers like me be able to swing by for a cocktail and a sunset view without a room? 🙃
We can't say for sure since that was the day of the ribbon-cutting. However like most hotels here, if you come in through the lobby it would be very unusual for anyone to know whether you're staying there or not. I think most hotels are happy for you to spend money at their bar or restaurant.
Beautiful but to expensive there unfortunately I tried to book in august for each week to see if any was available and it kept saying none of the days I picked are available and I literally checked all of august glitch maybe? Or to early to tell idk but ik it’ll be expensive
Could be a glitch or they could be holding reservations back for some reason.
Can you give an update on the Diplomat Hotel? I have stayed there alot and now it seems to have been closed or sold
I don't see anything in the news about it being closed or sold, however it could just not be reported publicly.
@CarmenandBrian I was just wondering what was up with them. Their website is down and the phone seems.to be down also. I caught a glimpse on one of your recent ocean Blvd update videos and it looked like the sign on the building was gone also.

It varies a lot depending on the size of the suite and the time of the year. If you go to their website you can plug-in your dates and get a quote before checking out.

I didn't see any designation when one way orthe other. It's just part of their club vacations.

As a HICV owner, I am a bit underwhelmed about the pool area. The south beach resort has 3 pools (one is oceanfront at the beach club), 2 waterslides and on site water park. The pool doesn’t seem big enough for all of the units. Maybe I would try it for a few nights in the off season. Thank you for the tour!
Yes we noticed that about the South Beach resort and we were wondering if they would share amenities since they run a shuttle? Despite the kids splash area, I distinctly got an adult vibe from this resort.

@@tjefvwayyes! We usually walk across the street to the beach club but they have a shuttle that will take you also. The beach club is great. You do need your room key to get in. There are rest rooms and showers. Also a small pool.

Think they should have had more selection of a restaurants on site and other things to do pool area seem simple where slides and lazy river if you calling it a resort you have to make it like a resort kinda disappointed in this 😢
I agree. More amenities at the sister resort across the street ( South Beach). Just doesn’t have ocean front. But you get the best of both worlds with the beach club.
