www.xotic.us Xotic Wah is modeled based on the Holy Grail wah, 1967-1968 Italian-built Clyde McCoy Wahs. With the Xotic Wah you don’t get one or three sounds in one pedal, you get unlimited sounds with unique controls that shape and contour your sound the way you hear it! The adjustability and flexibility of the Xotic Wah makes this one of the most versatile wah pedals available today!
Self-lubricating nylon bushing pivot for quiet and smooth operation with fully-adjustable rocker pedal tension.
Gold contact relay true bypassing, which allows for transparent true bypass tone, while incorporating ultra reliable switching with minimum one million life cycle.
20% smaller footprint than conventional wah pedals.
Fully adjustable Wah-Q and Bias controls and a two-band EQ with +/-15 dB center-detent potentiometers optimize the voicing for different playing styles and gear.
Fuzz friendly buffering circuit assures a great sounding wah tone with your favorite fuzz pedals.
External Controls
BIAS CONTROL - Changing the bias warmer will lead the Xotic Wah to having slightly more output & firm up bass frequencies along with a more pronounced wah through the sweep. A cold bias is common with vintage wah pedals for a very clear voice that is more transparent in tone and smoother in operation.
WAH Q CONTROL - This knob adjusts the Q (the width of the filter peak) and in basic terms, adjusts the amount of the wah effect for precise filter shaping to achieve vocal-like effects.
TREBLE & BASS CONTROL - A two-band EQ with +/-15 dB center-detent potentiometers optimize the voicing for different playing styles and gear.
ADJUSTABLE RUBBER STOPPER - Located on the backside bottom of the treadle this rubber bumper can be shimmed to adjust the travel range of the pedal.
ADJUSTABLE PEDAL TORSION - Fully-adjustable rocker pedal torsion by adjusting Hex nut on the treadle.
LED INDICATOR - The LED indicator is located at the top of the Xotic Wah and lights up when the pedal is on. One unique feature of the Xotic Wah is the LED will flash if the battery power falls below 50% and indicates that it is time to change the battery.
DC JACK - 2.1mm x 5.5mm 9VDC - Negative Center. When an external power supply is used, the battery is disconnected from the circuit. When using a battery, the life of the battery can be extended if you unplug the input when the effect is not in use for long periods of time. Battery access is through the removal of bottom plate (4 screws).
Internal Controls
INPUT GAIN - Controls wah input gain- by turning clockwise it adds up to +6dB of Wah Boost.
RELAY BYPASS SWITCHING - Xotic Wah uses a relay bypass switching for true bypass switching.
INTERNAL DIP SWITCHES - Controls wah resonance frequency range. - Hudba
(a) Mike, there is NOBODY on CZcams that makes better demos/reviews/videos than you. You set the bar. Your playing is ALWAYS stellar. You could make the crappiest pedal sound awesome. (b) I just got this pedal myself a couple days and you are right. The possibilities are endless!
Already have one. Another great product from Xotic. Thanks for the super demo Mike.
Thanks for watching!
I really like the sound of this one as well .
Nice playing with the smooth wah sounds like it
For sure the best wah pedal I have heard. It sounds a lot fuller and not harsh like a lot of wah pedals do. Almost sounds like an envelope filter which is cool
Yeah, for you but what about the price range, this shit is expensive as hell ! 230-something dollars??? Get the fuck out of here ! I'd rather get the Electro-Harmonix Wailer wah, that thing sounds good and it's a lot cheaper...you people just want fancy, expensive shit because you've got some money to waste, anyway...Well, that's you, go ahead and do whatever you want with your money !
irock, I agree with you. This wah is head and shoulders above the others. A great wah pedal is as important as a great guitar and a great amp and a quality wah pedal should last a lifetime.. To me, its definitely worth $230.
@@brucealcoriza1606 I got it for £150
@@bigupliquidchilli8709 Me too
@@brucealcoriza1606 You are so cool :D
great demo!
It will be mine, oh yes!
sounds great!
Thanks Joe! I've heard great things about your wah pedals! Would love to try on some day
Great demo as always! The pedal sounds great. I got one en route coming to me as we speak and I'm stoked...time to retire my Jimi Hendrix crybaby....
Thanks for watching, I hope it worked out for you!
Oh man...it's butter!

It’s pricey but I’m gonna get one I have a Buddha Wah and 2 Fulltone wahs it’s time to step it up was also looking at a CAE and a RMC ….
Fantastic demo! Such a versatile tool. Move over Crybaby, a new pedal is about to hit my board!!!
I doubt it. Wilson effects makes far better wahs. Just my experience speaking. I ve heard this and it just doesn't make the cut.
Josh YOSH I know, Im in love with the looks and buttons but it doesn't sound much better than a Morley. Close my eyes and it doesn't matter how good it looks anymore.
Was really liking this but you didnt try enough extremely different positions of the knobs. Would like to have heard more variations.
Could you tell me where you got the backing track for superstition from? I want to learn this song cause i have a wah.
Hi Mike, what are the main differences between this and the rmc10? How do you compare them? Thank you very much
Have it great sound, but when is off you lose some tone, also. Have rc booster first in the chain then xotic wah and a Maxon Sd9.
can xotic wah used to playing ambient? (sorry for my bad english)
Mike which is your fav Wilson mini or XW1?
What does bias control do?
Hi Mike. I just bought this pedal and am getting a fair bit of white noise/hiss coming through when the toe is down on the pedal. Is this normal? I couldn’t hear this on your demo?
Awesome features but the sound just isn't there for me. I'll keep my CAE wah.
Have you had the chance to adjust the internal controls at all? Great job on the video.....
INTERNAL controls?
@@michaelcraig9449 Yep. Check out the manual and see for yourself.
I wish :(
What is the funky song played from 1:30?
All wah pedals I have tried have a noticeable amount of tone suck as soon as they are plugged in . Even ones I have tried that, supposedly , have "true Bypass". I wish i could find one that does not suck out the highs out of my signal.
I’ve tried most & had the same issues except for this & an RMC 10 wah. Both sounded awesome with no noticeable tone suck. Hope this helps 😊
Very nice but I can't afford it..
Yeah that's just the S G working it's Magick-Nah That shit is Gnarly is all hell/I may need to rethink my Wah Game.I been using a Fulltone Clyde DLX N I Love it.but I only use "THE JIMI " mode. This thing gives you a lot more "real" control .Clyde is great but never liked "SHAFT" mode-"WACKED is very cool @ dialing COLORSOUND variation's but this WAH offers a bit more in Customizing Your Sound @ $260 not so bad-I would like more control over Tremble.I've noticed that these "High End Wahs' have very different sounds depending on what Amp your using On my ENGL very ordinary but on my ORANGE is real interactive same thing w/ my Peavy/Excellent Demo................................................................................................................................... WahWow
Wow! So far beyond my Cry Baby.
greatvanzinni Buy a Wilson Effects wah. More tones for less money.
SaintFredrocks Actually don't use Wah that much Wanted this one & settled for the Q wah which is a good fit for me.
