  • Composite Shapes Area Perimeter
Area and Perimeter of composite shapes made of rectangles
The area of a composite shape made up of rectangles is found by adding together the areas of all the individual rectangles that make up the composite shape. The area of a rectangle is found by multiplying its length by its width.
The perimeter of a composite shape made up of rectangles is found by adding together the lengths of all the sides of the rectangles that make up the composite shape. The perimeter of a rectangle is found by adding together the lengths of all four of its sides.

Mam the area of figure B is , 66cm2 as the 1st rectangle is of 12 and 3 so other one 2 is of 6 and 5 so we will 12×3 =36 ,6×5 = 30 so we will add it so it will be 66cm2 .
And perimeter is 42cm as we will pluss 12+3+3+7+6+6+5=42 cm
Thanku mam for this vidio, this really helped me ❤❤😅
