County always give city a very good game at Edgarley park and back in the 90s was brilliant to watch footy passion excitement ect ect now its all money falling all over the place , never be the same football ,

Will never forget the time we beat City 8-1 yes it was the last game of the season but still, 8-1 us the Boro actually scoring 8 goals and against City too, who were still a formidable opponent back then, obviously this was b4 the money took them to the elite status they deservedly belong in now, but still a great result, wow 8-1 not 1 or 2 or 3,4,5, not 6 not even 7 but 8, (say it loud n proud) 8 bloody 1

Yeah we still had a Decent side back then and we finished in the top ten of the Premier League MCFC

I think Weaver thought Dinning was going to try a Panenka (which he did quite a bit as penalty taker). I bet that’s why he didn’t move when Dinning slotted it low to his left. What a night that was; so glad I was there.
