I’ve been using the Wilton Bash hammers. They all have a flat top on them as well. Great value for the price. I’m glad to see Milwaukee jump into the mix with quality mechanics hammers.
My favorite dead blow is the vaughan 4lb on I beat the crap out of for 3 years and it's held up the caps finally cracked need new ones has a dent in the head rubber grip splitting etc well worth 75 I paid
For that money I would buy Trusty Cook USA made. Milwaukee is asking USA price for a Taiwanes product. SnapOn is way overpriced. Halder also has a great line.
I'm curious what your long term thoughts are gonna be. I know I'm gonna be hard pressed to get away from Trusty Cook and my Anti-Vibes. I know I've been pushing people away from the new Icon hammers because the price puts them right in line with Trusty Cook. They have the reputation and, even though it used to not mean much to me, they ARE made in the US.
I didn't know they were made in the USA. I see Tekton also started making their deadblows in the USA with a new lineup to replace the old Chinese-made ones. They might just be contracting Trusty-Cook for all I know. Is there a good place to buy Trusty-Cook with a good warranty like tool trucks' or Tekton's?
I generally buy good quality tools, but I do admit, one area that I do go cheap on is hammers. I just cannot seem to justify spending money on an item that I know I am going to bash on.
When I needed a ball peen hammer I got a $30 Estwing because dad has em and they're great! Framing hammer for house repairs? Husky. Loved the features of the Milwaukee but the balance was so, so far off. Dead blow? Four years with a Pittsburgh. Mini sledge? Pittsburgh. I did by my 12 pound sledge from Cornwell but that was a combination of love of the handle and a huge sale discount. The only thing I don't have in my box that I really want is a dead blow ball peen. Sometimes a cheap hammer is the way to go. The only one I refused to go ultra cheap on was my dual faced mallet. That was bought for taking apart firearms...not something to cheap out on. It's expensive enough to be flawless, but I didn't burn fistfuls of money on it. Sometimes cheap is awesome.
Sorry, But I didn't have 5 hours to do it right in After Effects manually, and I wasn't spending 100- 200 bucks on a lightning effects package from someone for one video
I thought this was a "G" Rated show....farmer Brown.🤣😂🤣😂✌🇺🇸😜🏴☠️✌ P.S. i do believe they had a starting bid on Captain America Shield the other day at 200,000 Yeah im poor and had to make one out of plastic and paint it for my kids a couple of years ago. It was a clear food platter. And they loved it.
Milwaukee seems to be one of the most innovative tool companies currently. They seem to be talking with actual people doing work and seeing what things can be incorporated in existing unchanged designs. Thanks for sharing!
You are such a Milwaukee fan boy for free tools. “ why hasn’t anyone done this flat top?” Seriously? SK has been doing it for years along with multiple other companies!!!
I have all of the tekton Dead hello ball-peen hammers and tekton dead blow mallets. I have all of the Vaughn hickory handle Ball-peen hammers. And a variety of hard hitters and brass hammers. My hammers usually lay on your side in the Hammer, punch and prybar drawer. The tekton cameras are a very good quality and I am very happy with them. But how Milwaukee has put a flat spot on the top so they could stand up is pretty damn cool and now I wish I had that. I hard-hitting sledgehammers have flat spots on the top and I do stand them up often when I’m using them. It makes it more convenient to grab it when I need it again and it takes up less space.
The 5.5lb Matco dead blow I bought 15 years ago is flat on top.
Kobalt hammers also have a similar flat spot. I’ve had one for about a year now and it held up fine, but don’t use it much.
Finally, Ive been waiting forever for these
A hammer to please the fan boys.
Someone had a good Christmas.
Like the intro. Happy New Year!
Dude Millwookie wasnt the 1st to
employ a flat spot to dock the hammer
That intro!!!! LOL what a dork!! Happy New Year and looking forward to new videos!
Be nice. Why watch a video just to insult people?
@@emiliog.4432 At the risk of encouraging a troll (you). You see that LOL? You see the "looking forward to new videos"?
J O K I N G bro.
Put two cable ties around the hitting part of the hammer/locking tabs staggered an facing towards the top of the hammer.
Stays up/Done
I'll have to give this one a try.
Is there a update on how the launch ScanTools you acquired this past year are holding up?

How long have you had them for, would you recommend them, thinking about buying the 3pc set
That flat top by itself is the reason to put one in your box.
What ya need Mike is a good solid claw hammer. 😂😂😂 I'll let you use mine. Haha
@5:23 haha but can't wait for the full review!!
i do need hammers for my home set so these may come in handy.
I just gave my hammer a haircut and it’s flat.
Mac has their anti-vibe hammers with a similar flat top. They’ve been pretty great for me.
Thanks.
Nice persuader.😎
Where do you buy all your Milwaukee stuff from? Tool truck or Home Depot?

Simple innovations like that flat spot are a wonderful thing.
It’s not innovative at all it’s been around 20 yrs

"Might" help with easier storage too ?!

@@guy386 Trusty cook makes hammers for both Tekton and Capri (both of which offer lifetime warranties)
My Estwing hammer has a flat top.
Ooooo Macarena!
Who else was hoping for an electric hammer
I have a Mac dead blow with a flat top that I bought in 2005 so definitely not a new development.
Nice intro

Are you serious? Other companies have done this for decades and innovative? Your funny

Hammers, yet you only show one. 🤔
Huh??
