Cats are very receptive to their owner's moods. I remember a friend of mine had a cat that he trained to get him things, they can open doorknobs and even use the toilet!! They are amazing creatures.

Hi Courtney, Hope you're feeling better, and Praying your Grandpa does too. You did an amazing job on that stove cover! And Inspector #1 (Moon Pie) had me laughing when you were doing the toilet- she doesn't miss a thing, does she? I didn't know cats picked up on our feelings like that, but when my husband had open heart surgery and I was at our son's house, on the third floor, crying softly, their dog pushed the door open and lay her head on my lap. Looking forward to whatever you have next for us- have a blessed rest of your week.

Hi, hope your grandfather’s health improves! Dishwashers can be hardwired or plugged in both are within code that solely depends on the dishwasher you purchase some are meant to be hardwired and some come with plug, my husbands not an electrician but he works in the construction industry and is also a jack of all trades last year we renovated our entire house and he did it all from plumbing, electrical, flooring windows etc, we also changed our dishwasher the last was hardwired and the new one was a plug in so he created an outlet for it inside the cabinet next to it, now since you don’t have electrical you could run a line from a nearby outlet to create a new one for it but as far as I know the code is that dishwashers must be protected by a gfci so you would definitely need to use a gfci outlet to take the electrical from! Also, definitely be very careful and sure of what you guys do because electricity is no joke, mean this in the best way possible! Good luck 🍀 hope you do the house tour!

Happy to see the old name back, I always liked it! Our kitties know when we aren't feeling ourselves. Even the little new one in my house knew I was in so much pain the other day and came up cuddling and giving little kitty kisses. They're amazing, loving animals. My last house had a ceramic top stove that also was in terrible shape. I was so desperate I used oven cleaner on it! 😂 It did pretty good until I could get to the store for some stovetop cleaner lol! I don't miss that stove honestly. Everything is looking beautiful as always! Sending prayers for your grandpa 🙏🙏 Very glad the tire was the only damage from whatever was in the road! I use the awesome degreaser from dollar tree to soak the bbq grill parts. Works like magic..I have a large laundry sink I use to soak the parts

Spend the money for an electrician. It will be worth the money for your peace of mind that it will be safe. I have a regular plug-in behind mine. I think it's just tied into the outlet above the cabinet.

Courtney I was a little confused on the new name but then seen it was you and was ok she changed it. 😊 We just put a dishwasher at our house and my husband is like your husband he figures everything out. He ran the electric from the plug on the wall/ counter above where you are putting the dishwasher. I hope you understand what I am saying. Your home is so beautiful. It took my husband about 30 minutes total to put the dishwasher in. He used parts of the cabinet to close in around the dishwasher it looks seamless. The dishwashers are on sale right now for Mother's day sale at Lowe's. We got a great price.

Your Welcome! They have a rug at Walmart that has that blue color in it (not a ton) but it is BEAUTIFUL and SOOOOOOO SOFT! I thought of you when I seen it and thought that would look good in your living room with your blue accents throughout. I'm gonna get one for my house next week. And so soft for the kids to play on.

I got my dishwasher and refrigerator on same outlet . We just drilled a hole inside of cabinet wall next to refrigerator to run the cord to dishwasher thur. Oh I use Weiman glass cook top heavy duty cleaner and a one side razor blade to clean build up make sure you slant the razor .❤
Do your dishwasher do fine on the same outlet? Does it ever trip the breaker or anything?

Hi just wanted to help you with that stove top. I have a glass stove top I remove the white residue with Weimar cook top max. Paste with a razor blade. Everything comes off just be careful not to scratch the surface with the razor blade.

Courtney, I am so sorry to hear that your grandpa is not feeling well. I will definitely put him in my prayers. As far as your stove goes the only thing that I use on the top part is barkeepers friend the powder and a razor blade and that gets everything off. I’ve been using that for years I’ve had three other Stoves and I’ve given them away like brand new, that’s what I’ve done and I’ve never had mine turn white so I don’t know what’s causing that. I know you’ve got to be careful with iron skillets because they can scratch the surface if you’re not careful , but you can use them because I use them all the time. So glad you have your name back on your channel. It’s the perfect name for you.😊. Moonpie is having way too much fun 😂!!! Your kitchen turned out super nice and your dinner looked delicious. I read this about stove tops as well - In nearly all cases, the white residue is from calcium and magnesium-containing minerals that are found in tap water. The minerals build up on pans when water boils, evaporates, and leaves them behind. Could be the reason...but I have yet to come across a "permanent fix" for the cloudy issue left behind! So frustrating. I truly didn't notice the name change! lol - but I like it as well. Have a Blessed & Happy Mother's Day with your sweet family!!

They love us unconditionally. 🥰🙏❤️ A hint for cleaning vents, I use foam brushes from dollar tree. Or, regular paint brushes can work and also get into corners of windows and doors frames.

I am laughing to myself while you are cleaning the tub lol because I use the color change oxy clean too and when you sprayed it, it sprayed on white lol because you keep it so clean. We have an outlet under the sink for our garbage disposal but dishwashers are hardwired so you will probably need an electrician to meet code.

I'm praying for your grandfather 🙏 My husband has congested heart failure and has several stents in his heart. I understand what you mean about your grandfather struggling to breathe just walking a few feet. My husband is the same way. My husband recently had to have his left leg amputated and four years ago he had half of his right foot amputated. He has kidney disease and I do my best to take care of him and his needs. I enjoy your videos and they do keep me motivated when I'm feeling exhausted. A little trick I do to keep me from feeling depressed is I open up my curtains right away to let the sunshine in. I put on upbeat music or a funny TV show. I make myself smile and I tell myself it's going to be a good day. I make myself get up and I try to stay busy . I will go outside and let the sunshine hit my face for a few minutes and that usually works.
I’m so sorry your husband has to go through that it’s tough to watch a loved one be that way, and I will definitely try that when I made myself get up yesterday and listened to music on the iPad while I cleaned it put me in such a better mood I believe because it kept my mind occupied 🩵🩵😊

Tips for flat top stoves. I've had one for over 20 years and not a scratch or stain on it. They sell cooktop cleaner. It's cheap and you only need a tiny bit so it lasts forever. Always use a non-scratch sponge and can use a straight edge razor blade for really crusty build-up Also, never drag your pots and pans across your cooktop. Pick them up to prevent scratches.

Happy that Moonpie is such a supportive lil girl. I'm not shocked. Animals rely heavily on their, "feelings" about things.
I don't have any suggestions for the electric stove top unfortunately. I finally just decided that cleanliness has to take priority over pretty. So mine looks rough too. Plus I hate electric stoves anyway. It's my dream to have a gas one next time.

Not at all mechanically inclined so unfortunately I don't have much advice about the dishwasher except that I kno the fridge pulls a lot of power so I'm "guessing" you will need to install a separate power source for the new appliance so u won't overload the box n cause a fire in the fuse box. That can be costly.

I will be praying for your grandfather because I know what he is going through. I got bad news today myself I have heart failure and if my medicine doesn’t work I have to go to Vanderbilt and get on heart transplant list. If I take my fluid pill I pass out please pray that I can take it without passing out so I don’t have to go get a transplant. I am trying to have faith.

I am so sorry about the unexpected cost on the tire. My husband and I just recently had a very expensive unexpected cost for my car. I do believe animals pick up on our anxiety or depression or even when we’re sick. My dog does the same thing. Whenever my anxiety is high or if I’m not feeling well like sinus issues for example, he comes to me for cuddles and it’s like he’s trying to comfort me in someway I get it!❤

If your grandpa os a distance is away - just call him daily and maybe share your favorite memories and laugh - Facetime and let him see the girls - I know when I am feeling down and depressed helping others and being of service to someone else helps me. I use a box cutter blade to scrape off build up it doesn’t scratch my stove top but i do make sure its soapy so it glides better

Nooo lol 😂 I made a community post yesterday I don’t know how long you have been on my channel but when I first started it was home sweep home for a really long time then I changed it a couple months ago, but I missed it and wished I never had changed it so I made a post yesterday asking if people liked the name till dust do us part or home sweep home the one I originally had it as and everybody wanted the original name back so I changed it back yesterday it’s staying the same this time I promise lol 😂

I have no idea if it’s burned milk over time or calcified water whoever had the stove before we moved in did not take care of it at all I really want to get a new one in the near future! 🩵🩵
My stove is also a ceramic cook top and LG recommends cook top cleaner. Wal-Mart has the Weiman glass cook top cleaner that cleans and adds shine. Also for burnt on areas LG also recommend s a straight edge razor. I have the retractable razor blade that works great. Hopefully the cleaner will give your cook top some shine back.
