I know this is an old video but you didn't mention where you connect the COM wire. Does the COM and NO go to the stat/timer connection? And if yes does it matter which way round they are connected? As according to the Salus manual COM just needs a link with 230v but then my thermostat fails to get the boiler to heat the house.

I forget to ask, how did you find the Android app? Is it slow of fast when updating temperature? Do you think you can make another short video using the mobile phone app?
