  • Avoiding reference manager software because I thought I didn't have time to learn was a big mistake. This 5 minute Mendeley tutorial contains the things i wish I'd known earlier, from installation through to referencing and formatting for specific journals.

    Finally got around to searching for how to use Mendeley. And voila! I realized how many DAYS of my life were wasted on manual referencing. Thanks!

    Hi Stuart,
    Thank you for making this short and snappy. Like you I have struggled with referencing, knowing all along there is an easier way, however, not having the time to figure it out (largely due to leaving things to the last minute, thanks ADHD brain!). This, however, was brilliant. Much appreciated

    I've got a question about Mendeley, maybe you could help me... Since the "view" menu on top is gone in the newest version, I don't know, how to change to only use the abbreviations of journals. Can you tell me, how I can do that? That would be great!

    Thank you for this. Any work-around for Mac OSx 11 (Big Sur)? The Mendeley plug-in doesn't work in Word, which makes half of it useless. Have contacted Mendeley support, but they haven't been helpful with this, so thought you might have some clever ideas :)

    Hi Stuart, is there any way to save an online backup of all files added to Mendeley References? Thus, not on the laptop itself/desktop.

    • @biomechstu
      @biomechstu  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I'm not sure, sorry. I don't use mine for file storage, so I'm not sure how that aspect works. Although it does seem that greater storage is offered with the Premium plan: www.mendeley.com/reference-management/premium
