I know most of us love shadow Hunters,city of bones series etc but can we just appreciate this beautiful artist and her incredible talent and stop spamming the comment section with comments that don't thank the artist on her amazing song.I am a huge fan of the Mortal instruments series.I can understand how people might want to express how a song resembles a relationship for eg Malec but I just feel like no one is really taking notice of this wonderful artist instead all their interest is on fictional characters.I don't normally comment but I felt I needed to as in almost every song Ruelle releases all the comments mainly consist of fans of TV shows.

Like many others, I'm here because of The Originals. It isn't often that you hear a song that gives you chills regardless of what's happening on screen at the time. This is one of those songs. It's hauntingly beautiful and gave me chills. Then that Josh and Aiden stuff happened and I may have swooned a little because it was completely unexpected and so beautiful. I'm beginning to think that very few people I've grown to love over the years are going to make it to the end, but I still can't wait to see what's going to happen over the next three weeks.

On May 28th I lost one of the dearest people in my life to a drug overdose. Her name is Shannon and she was just 22 years old. She left behind a 1 and 2 year old son. I begged and begged her to call me if she ever felt the urge to use and she promised me she would, but she decided that she was going to go use one last time.
She got heroine from a guy who had just smuggled it in that morning. And that 'one time' cost her her own life. I cried and cried wen I found out. I listen to this song everyday because it reminds me of her so much. Let this song be in the hearts of all those who have ever lost a loved one for the wrong reason. There's a hole in my world where she once used to be 😔😢

Yes, I’m here because of hearing this song in Arrow, but I’m staying because both the simplicity and complexity of this video is amazing. It’s just Ruelle, front and center (aside the instrumentalists) which makes it simple, but the fact it’s just her and you never fully see her while she’s singing those lyrics takes it even further.
