William (Hugh Grant of Love Actually and Bridget Jones's Diary) is about to go to sleep when he hears a noise. He thinks it's Anna (Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman and My Best Friend's Wedding), but it's Spike (Rhys Ifans from The Amazing Spider-Man and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1) who comes to ask him why he's not trying anything with her now that she is single and sleeping at his house. Spike is as usual pretty annoying but he ends up leaving, and when William loses patience and gets angry because he thinks he’s coming back again, it is Anna who is there. Anna and William kiss, and they end up spending the night together. In the early morning, Anna wonders what William thinks, but he immediately reassures her.

Anna (Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman and My Best Friend’s Wedding) comes from America and is a famous movie star. When Anna meets William in his bookshop, they fall in love, but they have to face many problems in their relationship.

I've seen some commenters suggest that Will was acting like a stalker at times in the storyline. Well, if he was a stalker, Anna was definitely the more aggressive one in pursuit of a relationship. Anyways, it's only a fictional romantic comedy, but does have the requisite happy ending.
