I fought that background like a Chuck Norris tackling a greased pig...and then I realized you said "you can do this with a cloud brush" and a light went on. As soon as I swapped to that, things went much better and this wound up being a lot of fun once I got past that. I'm sending this one to my mom in MO.

This was very appropriate for this time of the year. Just finished my painting and it was fun. Since I have problems with tiny drops of mist on the spider web, I used a toothpick to add the water droplets using water and matt medium, which came out nice. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Don’t be so critical of what you’re doing! It’s great! When you have time lapse it messes me up lol, sometimes I am able to just look away from your direction and do my painting while listening and watching.

Well I kind of cheated some what. As I have had the shakes instead of using a black chalk I used a drafting pen and still my web was shaky. I used a black felt for the dots but paint for the white. I loved doing this one and may do it again in another color BRAVO JANE BRAVO!! 👏🏼👏🏼❤️😊

Jane,..I've done several of your tutorials. I absolutely love you!.. I have learned more from you then anyone else, and trust me..I've seen a bunch..lol..but, my question is, I have so many.. friends family exc. Are always asking me if u will sell them.is that ok?... I don't want too take credit for your work. Should I sign them?.. should I put.. inspired by Jane?.. I just don't want too step in toes..

I’m just in love with this painting and I’ve been wanting to paint along with you but life happened and well I’ve just not been able to do so yet. I’m planning to do this tonight or tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it happens lol 😂 oh quick question! I went to your site for brushes and was wanting to purchase the full kit I guess you’d say. There was 2 options 19 and 27 I think. I don’t know if it’s sold out or what but the larger one of the 2 would not work to purchase. Hmmmm !??

So I’m getting started and don’t have that exact yellow or purple. Any tips on what I can use to get close to them?
Just take the yellows and purples you do have, and mix them a little to see what they do. Use the mixture you like the best. It doesn't have to be exact 😊
Painting with Jane thanks again! I was doing that. The only purple color I have is violet, but I was looking at yours it’s almost looks like it has a bit of a darker blue and maybe if I added that to the violet and maybe a very small bit of black or deeper brown it may come closer to the purple used. And on the yellow well my Yellow oc. Is the closest thing but it’s still missing something. Hmmm lol 😂 I’ll get this figured out! Thank you again sweetie so so very much!! It’s always awesome to see you work and to paint along with ya even if it’s a bit later. Haha!
I really struggle with thin lines. It either becomes too thick or I'm not covering the paint underneath.
