I’m a father of small children too…I feel that there is nothing wrong with making a figure of a character that happens to be a child. My issue is that unfortunately we live in a world with unsavory people that may display this in an inappropriate manner. I can understand the apprehension for some. I think HT was very aware of this and avoided it for a long time. That said nothing wrong with getting this figure if you want it. Collect your way
Must admit this hadn’t even occurred to me. As a father myself I don’t have any issue with it tho, they’re fictional alien characters and it’ll be cool to have Ahsoka as she appears across TCW and into the show at the pivotal moments of her journey! Great video mate, very thought provoking! 👊🏻

It's not weird at all that they've finally untightened their assholes and made a younger character. Maybe this means we can FINALLY get a Miss Marvel. I'm absolutely supporting this so that we can finally get a wider range of characters that we want.
Didn’t even cross my mind, but it’s sad we live in a society where people now have this mindset, personally I feel hot toys loosened up a bit on what they make when inart made the young Harry Potter, I’d say it’s only weird if you make it weird, but if you are a father of young children, I completely understand this train of thought, I am however excited and glad as this is Ahsoka as I think of her, from the clone wars, it will fit well with a clone wars line.

I made a video with similar thoughts when I first saw this figure. Objectively impressive in terms of how it looks as a figure but personally I don’t have any desire to collect 1/6 scale adolescents or kids. The Clone Wars version of her I have in my collection is good enough and it doesn’t represent a likeness to a real person. You aren’t the only one that thinks this way regarding this figure.

No it’s about our own personal opinion because the hot toys version i don’t see them as kids because Tom holland isn’t a kid when he played Spider-Man. You can disagree with me on Spider-Man and there’s nothing wrong going with that. I’m only being honest with my opinion on this character.
Your opinion, I see pics all the time on Facebook groups of people posting pics of figures in provocative poses lets just leave like that. As a father I look at things sometimes in a difference lens.
I’m a father of two girls… and I’d say for me personally, the weirdness level is there a little… but I think it depends on the actor/actresses age, and/or the character they’re portraying… in this case, the actress is 16 years old, and is portraying an alien character. In the other example you gave, Harry Potter, they were REALLY young.. that feels more weird. In that case, I would want an adult Harry Potter figure, not the child. 🤷♂️
Thank you so much for the comment, as I said, it’s going to be completely subjective, depending on the collector. I have to admit when I first saw the photos early in the morning. I was super excited and extremely surprised like others that how toys made this character. When I got to work about a few hours later and had time to sit down and actually look at the photos I had a different opinion. I’ve been called weird for making this video and feeling this way but the only thing I can say I’m guilty of is being me and honest. 🤙🫡
