It’s tough 😅 if you got space then get 2 monitors one optimized for productivity, and the other for gaming. But if you have to choose a do it all, I would personally choose 32-inch 4K or a 49-inch Super UltraWide. I think GPU plays a role in the decision factor as well, since you’ll want a strong PC for 4K unless if you plan on downscaling I really appreciate the feedback 🔥 there’s just so many options so I feel you in trying to find the one you want
Amazing monitor, design, backlight, I enjoyed controlling the monitor with the controller. Unfortunately, in absolute silence, the monitor fan made strange disturbing noises. Exchange for another piece was not possible, as it was not in stock and availability was unknown. The MPG 271QRX QD-OLED was available, so I paid extra and took it. The 271QRX doesn't have a fan, which is great. I am satisfied, but being lg 27gs95qe-b without a fan, or if it was at least not audible, I would not change. Anyway, nice review.
If I don't play, I don't know about PC (custom loop liquid cooling). And that's thanks to the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM. I think the picture is better with 271qrx. Probably also thanks to the non-matte surface. I only play games in the evening. When my daughter is already sleeping, so I don't notice any negatives. During the day, I don't have a large light source behind me, which is said to bother qd-oled. I don't like the stand on the 271qrx, LG has a beautiful one. I believe that for most people the fan will not be a problem and they will enjoy the Lg 27gs95qe-b as it is otherwise great.

Hi Fire Wolf! , great review! Y have a question. Yesterday I bought the previous version on sale in my country (Spain) for 700€, since LG don't sell the new update and I doubt it will come out at the same price that the old one. There are other external sellers who sell it, but very expensive ( + 1000 €) ... Do you think I made a good purchase or should I wait for the new version to be released? Cheers!
It depends on how you find the brightness levels on the previous version. In my opinion, the new version has brighter display and better sub pixel layout so I would wait; But since you got a good price on the previous version, it may not be worth spending more. Either way, OLED is awesome 🔥
I bought it last Thursday in Amazon Spain at 833, guess at that price is good. It arrived yesterday and I'm still doing some tests. Also we have at 800 the Asus XG27AQDM but it comes with glossy panel.
Thanks so much for this review! I have one quick question about this monitor - i often heard that last years model supported 4k downscaling where if, for example, you set the ps5 to output 4k then the monitor could accept the 4k input and downsample it to a sharper 1440p than it you were to directly output 1440p from the ps5 (as an example). I just want to confirm if this years model actually removed that feature?, given I noticed that when you showed the ps5, you mentioned the console actually wanted you to change its output to 1440p in the console settings instead of letting you also output 4k as an option and have the monitor automatically downsample it like last years model could do. It'd be a shame if this feature was removed in this year's refresh because having 4k outputs downsampled to a sharper 1440p image on the screen can be a great feature, and i haven't found any official info anywhere yet highlighting the removal of this feature from last years model. If you'd be happy to double check and confirm if it's been removed or not, id be so grateful thanks! Regardless, thank you again for the great review!
Yeah I realized that a little too late. My shotgun mic has a safety channel feature and was enabled the whole time I recorded part of the footage which was causing the audio to go on the left. I am now aware of this feature 🥲
Flickering is real with Gsync. Can't play with my RTX 4070TI. I had to return the screen. However, I have 2 LG 27GP850 screens with 180hz QHD IPS panels and I don't have this flickering problem. What a huge disappointment.
There’s definitely a huge difference in size, and the latest C3 Oled is very tempting with its price so I understand the tough decision 😅 Since your desk isn’t big, a 27-inch or even a 32-inch monitor would be a better choice in your setup. You also want to consider lighting, since the matte display on the LG 27 will be better in brighter environments. The oled TV will by far give you a better picture quality because of the glossy display and it also has good built in speakers 🔊 it’s not 100% PC friendly, but if you’re only using console, then it is a better value if you have the space for it.
Yeah for air, I think the USB-C to HDMI 2.1 might be limited to 120, if that’s the case, try USB-C to DisplayPort. I know depending on the Mac might also differ

Samsung likes to reuse the same name lol If it’s the one with 27” QHD resolution, in my opinion it’s worth it for the creamy OLED panel and faster response time but still keeping the 1440P resolution. I just can't decide between the MSI 271QRX and this 27GS95QE. I mostly play with PS5 and sometimes PC games. I have a sound on my desk with an Optical audio, which would be great support with the LG screen. I guess my only issue with the LG is the indeed the matte screen coating but again, the 271QRX glossy screen has raised black in ambient lighting conditions. Sometimes I play during the day....
@@Alfie0001 I just did a review on the AW2725DF which uses the same 3rd gen QD-OLED panel as the MSI. The only issue with that one is no Audio Out options
I touched the MSI screen and it was impossible for me to remove the smudge, something that nobody talks but I end up returning up cuz I got a dud version called MAG that doesn't support firmware updates and gsync wasn't able to down to 60hz on its own, it actually never matched the FPS on screen causing some micro stutters
Same reason why almost all monitors have matte coatings, it deflects light sources the best. If you don’t havd lighting control, and let’s say you get a lot of sunlight coming into the screen, the matte makes it easier to work versus a glossy screen.
Unfortunately the really long stand (depth) makes this monitor incompatible with my setup, since my top shelf only has nine inches to actually place on. Bummer. But, I’m also going to use this mainly for office use, so maybe OLED in general doesn’t make sense for my situation. Gaming would obviously be phenomenal on this though
Update! I was able to completely remove the top shelf, which makes my setup now compatible with this monitor? The question is, is it worth the dough ($729)?
It will definitely last 3 years or the manufacturer will replace it under warranty, but whether it will last 3 or 5 depends on how often you use it and how correctly. Any OLED panel takes some getting used to, no matter if it's a phone monitor or TV you should always be careful with them
Its an issue with every oled just not a big one there is ways to prevent burn in to the point that it is highly unlikely. For example use wallpaper engine to have the pixels change colour regularly, hide the windows taskbar aswell as the icons. In short you should be fine as long as you dont have any static pictures or icons on the screen for to long
when you look at it close, it has a fuzzy look to it. If you want something as clear as possible, I did a video on the AW2725DF, that has a glossier panel . In my opinion the matte isn't distracting after you give it time to get accustomed to it. I notice it immediately because I switch from screen to screen
If I remember correctly, there was just the thin foam bag surrounding the monitor. The recent LG 34 and 39 GS models I just reviewed didn’t have a dedicated screen protector either. I think it’s because the matte coating isn’t prone to scratches
@@RogueStatusX doesn't mean it can't have USB-C and KVM switch. In fact brands like ASUS ROG are more "gamer" but they usually add these useful features
Im thinking about getting this monitor coming from a AlienWare AW2720HF... I dont know a lot about monitors and need help making a great decision on my next purchase. I want a OLED 1440p or 4k with 240-360HZ That will be the best in a dark room for WarZone... The cost dont matter because whatever it is ill save up ,if its worth it. Any Suggestions.. (Graphics Card is AMD TUF-RX6900XT)
If you want the best in a dark room, then I would recommend 27" AW2725DF QD-OLED for 1440P, but I will be reviewing the new ROG GLOSSY XG27AQDMG which might be better in the dark. These are both 27" 1440P Gaming Monitors. For 32" 4K, the AW3225QF is great in the dark. You might also like the 32GS95UE as well, these are all monitors that I have reviewed so far
They’re both great monitors with pros and cons and you’re getting the latest gen OLED panels which is a plus. You can’t go wrong with either one, but look into matte vs gloss to really decide if you want a glossier panel (aw2725) or a matte panel (LG27GS)
I tried using direct lighting to showcase how the light diffuses it. Take a moment and look into my latest 39GS95QE and 34GS96QE reviews. I made a better effort to include bright room, sunlight, and extra lighting.
This is my second setup, I used what I had at the moment. Trust me it bothers me too lol Check out my other recent monitor videos and you’ll see my main setup 🔥
I would say it depends on your setup and how much light gets in. The LG has a matte coating that does an amazing job of diffusing light, so if you normally use the monitor during daylight this is a great choice. The LG is also brighter. The Alienware has a glossier coating so it reflects a lot of light where you could even see your own reflection. During night it looks amazing and has better picture quality because there's no thick matte coating that makes the image look a little fuzzy.
When using for the ps5 it lets me put it in 4k resolution but I get the LG pop up saying it needs to be in 1440p. If I put it in 1440p on the ps5 it says it doesn’t support hdr. Any downside to the ps5 being in 4k resolution and hdr even though the monitor is 1440p?
@@ibrahimdarweesh Thank you very much, since the new Asus will be released around August, I am not going to wait and since I have had a good experience with my C2oled, I already know what LG is, thank you!!.

video-great, 🔥review cpu choice-questionable. better off spends less money on the cpu and getting a worse psu, 1200w is overkill and getting a 4080 super. unless you really need the extra cores of the 7900x, 7800x3d is cheaper and better for gaming.
7900X used to be my main CPU, but then I made a second build (did a whole tutorial) and re used the 7900X because I got the 7950x3D for my main :) But you right the 7800x3D is cheaper and a better gaming value ! As for the 1200W, yes it’s overkill (which I also state in my tutorial video) but I got it because the 1200 had the dedicated 600W power adapter for new 40-series, PLUS it allows me to future proof for further upgrades ;)
The -b just refers to model that are either black or dark in color. Whereas the -w is for white color. I’ve only seen this type of lettering in LG monitors. Most of the times, it’s easier to just not include the -b or -w at the end
your settings on that monitor is dark as hell and besides even if you brightened it up it the brightness will fade over time i have that monitor it's not the hype most say it is.
You said it will do a pixel clean automatically after 4 hours, does that mean also when you are working with it? because I work on my desktop; so the screen is like 8 hours on; basically.
No only after you turn it off. This means if you were to work everyday for 8 hours straight, the monitor will pixel clean everyday day after you finish and the monitor turns off

Its an issue with every oled just not a big one there is ways to prevent burn in to the point that it is highly unlikely. For example use wallpaper engine to have the pixels change colour regularly, hide the windows taskbar aswell as the icons. In short you should be fine as long as you dont have any static pictures or icons on the screen for to long
How distracting is the matte screen? Does it make white look off colored?
when you look at it close, it has a fuzzy look to it. If you want something as clear as possible, I did a video on the AW2725DF, that has a glossier panel .
In my opinion the matte isn't distracting after you give it time to get accustomed to it. I notice it immediately because I switch from screen to screen
Mine came today does anybody know why there was no screen protaction piece on the monitor?
If I remember correctly, there was just the thin foam bag surrounding the monitor. The recent LG 34 and 39 GS models I just reviewed didn’t have a dedicated screen protector either.
I think it’s because the matte coating isn’t prone to scratches
thx
seems like they fixed the brightness issue over the old model
Hey, i bought the same monitor last week and couldn't figure out how to turn on the LEDs on the back. maybe you can help me. great review btw
It’s the menu settings, look for hexagon lighting
@@FIREWOLFTECH got it thank you very much
Nice video! 4070ti is enough in this monitor?
4070ti should be good enough 🔥
What's your current SDR and HDR settings?
How does LG still ship these monitors without a KVM switch and USB-C (DP-alt)?
All they need to do is add USB-C and KVM naturally follows 😩
It’s understandable though, these monitors are more focused to gaming
this is a gaming monitor sir
@@RogueStatusX doesn't mean it can't have USB-C and KVM switch. In fact brands like ASUS ROG are more "gamer" but they usually add these useful features
Is it the same screen as 32GS95UE but smaller and without 1080p/480Hz mode? Or are there any other differences?
I have the same question.
Hi im just wondering how you know that the panel is third gen?
I looked into the press release of the latest LG monitors and they have this monitor using the latest gen along with other new 2024 releases
@@FIREWOLFTECH Ok gotcha, thanks.
I just really hate that stand.. They flare out too wide. Rather have a nice middle stand.
Yeah the newer stand designs are way better
How's the HDR?
Terrible so dark you can barely see anything
I think you'll get the most performance out of 1440P monitors with your GPU
@FIREWOLFTECH thanks, I needed that info. Appreciate u.
Is this better then the aw2725?????? The lg looks beautiful but I wana feel the 360hz :( if only lg had it with 360
They’re both great monitors with pros and cons and you’re getting the latest gen OLED panels which is a plus.
You can’t go wrong with either one, but look into matte vs gloss to really decide if you want a glossier panel (aw2725) or a matte panel (LG27GS)
@@FIREWOLFTECHis the qd oled worth getting with the 360hz ?
@@FIREWOLFTECH the WOLED in this 27GS95QE is newest gen WOLED (newer than WOLED of 27GR95QE)?
Yes it’s newer than 27GR which is a huge improvement
Biggest problem with OLEDs is brightness and the review didn't show the panel in a bright room/sunlight
I tried using direct lighting to showcase how the light diffuses it.
Take a moment and look into my latest 39GS95QE and 34GS96QE reviews. I made a better effort to include bright room, sunlight, and extra lighting.
You need to get some speakers, not just a misplaced Razer soundbar...
This is my second setup, I used what I had at the moment. Trust me it bothers me too lol
Check out my other recent monitor videos and you’ll see my main setup 🔥
LG❤️
this or alienware AW2725DF? i have 4070 super
360hz vs 240hz also
When using for the ps5 it lets me put it in 4k resolution but I get the LG pop up saying it needs to be in 1440p. If I put it in 1440p on the ps5 it says it doesn’t support hdr. Any downside to the ps5 being in 4k resolution and hdr even though the monitor is 1440p?
That’s weird, in my video you’ll see the PS5 shows VRR and HDR support on 1440P resolution.
Are you referring to menu setting ?
I'm thinking about buying this monitor but I can't decide if this one or the Asus Pg27AQDM... 😅
Gs is better than asus and brighter and have hdmi 2.1
Just buy the gs model not gr
@@ibrahimdarweesh Thank you very much, since the new Asus will be released around August, I am not going to wait and since I have had a good experience with my C2oled, I already know what LG is, thank you!!.
@@Javito1193 wlc bro 👍
@@Javito1193 if u want glossy finish u will go with alineware or msi mpg oled
i think i dont like the stand at all, its exactly in the area where i go with my mouse
Yeah the V Shaped design robs a lot of space. I recommend a monitor arm
This monitor goes for under $600 used on eBay so the value has almost cut in half
Doubt it’s this. It’s likely the 27GR not 27GS.
Def check the model since 27GR and 27GS(this one) are hard to tell apart.
But either way, if it’s used, then it’s not a surprise since monitors usually don’t hold their value
i want this desk mat
I have it linked on the description, it’s the HYSTAR Pegasus XXXL
@@FIREWOLFTECH Nice, thanks! Great review btw.
@@FIREWOLFTECHI looked and couldn’t find the link
Thanks for looking, I must’ve removed it by mistake lol I re added it
Thanks for the feedback 🔥🔥 I really appreciate it.
By the way, the hystar mousepad is no joke, a very high quality mousepad, by far the best I’ve ever owned. They sell out at times and sometimes it takes time to restock
What 4k monitor is solid ? I went for this one because I liked my ips lg but couldn’t find a 4k monitor that wasn’t hated by its reviewers
The AW3225QF is solid 🔥 LG is releasing a new 4K, and I’m waiting to review the other 4K oled monitors from Asus and MSI
Is this the fastest monitor ?
No, they make 360 and 480
bruh. Now I don't know which one to get. This or the Samsung G6 Oled.
Am in the same boat😢
today it was on sale at best buy, for 650 for that price don't even considered g6 lol

video-great, 🔥review
cpu choice-questionable. better off spends less money on the cpu and getting a worse psu, 1200w is overkill and getting a 4080 super. unless you really need the extra cores of the 7900x, 7800x3d is cheaper and better for gaming.
7900X used to be my main CPU, but then I made a second build (did a whole tutorial) and re used the 7900X because I got the 7950x3D for my main :)
But you right the 7800x3D is cheaper and a better gaming value !
As for the 1200W, yes it’s overkill (which I also state in my tutorial video) but I got it because the 1200 had the dedicated 600W power adapter for new 40-series, PLUS it allows me to future proof for further upgrades ;)
@@FIREWOLFTECH sry, first video of yours that i watched, didnt see the tutorial one. also what 600w power adaper?
No worries lol completely understand !
Its the 12VHPWR 600W connection that powers 40-Series GPUs instead of having to use like 3-4 PCIe
not being 4k is a deal breaker
Yeah I feel you on that, but at least it’s 27 inches and wouldn’t need an expensive build to run games at 240
This or the Alienware aw2725df?…. That’s the question
alienware is better because it has a 360hz refresh rate
@@JoseMaria28 no
Why do some have a b at the end and others don't?
The -b just refers to model that are either black or dark in color. Whereas the -w is for white color. I’ve only seen this type of lettering in LG monitors.
Most of the times, it’s easier to just not include the -b or -w at the end

Which fan ?
In my Unit i had fan noise. In super quiet place it was noticeable. I want this monitor but this shit make me return it.
your settings on that monitor is dark as hell and besides even if you brightened it up it the brightness will fade over time i have that monitor it's not the hype most say it is.

Shame that half the review your voice is only in left earbud lol. Tough to watch. Im sure it was just a mistake.
Accident 🥲
You said it will do a pixel clean automatically after 4 hours, does that mean also when you are working with it? because I work on my desktop; so the screen is like 8 hours on; basically.
No only after you turn it off. This means if you were to work everyday for 8 hours straight, the monitor will pixel clean everyday day after you finish and the monitor turns off
@@FIREWOLFTECHThanks, that is great to hear will idle around for a bit :-)
Yeah I was wondering why I wasn’t getting notified or even have the reminder options in the settings lol
