The Units & Larry Cuba - Warm Moving Bodies with Calculated Movements

This is a Mannekin Pis remix of the synthpunk pioneers, The Units, classic song "WARM MOVING BODIES", written by Scott Ryser in 1979, and later released in 1980 on The Units seminal album, DIGITAL STIMULATION. This remix was taken from the original 16 track master tapes of that record. Ryser also used a version of the song as the soundtrack for the 1980 "The Unit Training Film" that served as a backdrop for The Units live shows as well as being shown sans band around the SF Bay Area. The original film was recently acquired and restored by The Pacific Film Archive and has started to be shown again in small theaters throughout the country.

"The Units & Larry Cuba - Warm Moving Bodies with Calculated Movements" video is a re-edit of the award winning 1985, 16mm film "CALCULATED MOVEMENTS" by the pioneering computer animation artist Larry Cuba. Cuba also provided computer graphics for the original Star Wars movie in 1977. His animation of the Death Star is shown to pilots in the Rebel Alliance. The re-editing of the original "Calculated Movements" film, for the "Warm Moving Bodies With Calculated Movements" video, was done by Sascha Carbin, (aka Mannekin Pis).

Heya, wondering where you got a digitized copy of the full Calculated movements? I've only been able to find the 1 minute sample on youtube so far.
