Meditation is nothing but you witness your own thoughts, become a watcher of your own self, silencing the mind, it's inner bliss, meditation should be effortless, if your mind is silent, one should be able to meditate even in the market place, each moment is a meditation whatever we do in life, but doing everything consciously. ' A true sage will transform everything into meditation ' 🙏👍

@@e.d972 : wandering mind is a natural phenomenon, the secret is how to pass on the thoughts like clouds without reacting or just watching them. Every thought is inter connected, every second it changes, so nothing wrong if the mind wanders, but how quick one comes back to our own self or centre. If you have an open mind to what other masters says, watch Osho's video what he talks about mind. Remember only freedom gives you understanding and see God, if we are rigid blessing (self realisation path) can never be bestowed. Good luck 👍
@@marydonald483 I can acknowledge the thoughts and come back very quickly but looks like I have to overcome the feeling that I am not doing it the right way perhaps and just take it as it comes and not sweat about it until I get where I think I should be. And that's the relaxed state, right? Is there a certain video from the source you're recommending or I simply can watch any if there is more than 1 only. Thank you very much. 🙏💞

If you're concentrating on your meditation then you are not really meditating
Headspace does teach How to concentrate
Teaches How to not get distracted and even if you do get distracted they teach how to bring your awareness back to breathe or bodily feelings.
Looks like you just defined / explained what meditation is, for me at least.

I'd love to get it for my son Issac. He's 16 years old with ADHD. He's mind is always in the go with video games. He also has a learning disability in school. But he's so creative and with such a big loving heart. Not sure how I could help him understand this will benefit him.
What are his interest area? , say his interest area is playing guitar and you also want him to make career in his hobby; sell him saying how he could be good at it by listening and following this

Hi dandapani...,l watch your videos ...I loved your tedx talk,it was a good lesson about awareness and mind.but Jiddu k.said a concentrated mind cannot meditate,in his book about meditation...I never tried.what is your thought about that?
