- Samsung just released a ton of products at a keynote event in San Francisco: the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, the budget S10E, Galaxy Buds, and a even a 5G version of the S10. Oh yeah, and the Galaxy Fold has finally arrived. Here's all that and more.

I really thought Samsung was going to do something special for the 10th anniversary. That all went out the window I'll stick with my S8. Actually considering going to Apple.
They should have really turned to Hollywood's for their presentation. They could have did some more storytelling history making. This was really dull and everyone including Samsung fans miss steves jobs

Funny thing is, if Apple did the same thing people will be thinking it's the most revolutionary device in years. Even if they made it 500-1000 dollars more than Samsung, people will still be suckered into buying it.
I think that is reasonably priced, premium phone and a tablet in one. Apple might price this device in a similar way or even higher...

Insdie folding tech vs outside folding tech is totally different. Outside is not so durable that display will be ran out(torn out). Inside one, it folds millions times.

I'm actually very impressed. I wasn't expecting a lot from these foldables, but the Fold looks pretty smooth. Yeah, price is super high but I see it as device for bragging rights (both Samsung and the owner) rather than being a big seller/ profit maker. I'm definitely not in the market (until the price drops and there's a S pen) but I like it.

sanzo sanchez it’s kinda understandable since you get 2 in 1 and it’s a new technology. Overtime it should decrease in price with the help of third parties using some of components from the foldable.
On other note Apple might produce their own version the following year but Apple being Apple it will cost in the region of $2000+
This is technology beyond technology. I am using Samsung in my house; fridge, music sys, Tab, cellphone but this is the best ever. In my country Botswana; it is gonna cost a min of BWP 20 000; i am just waiting to manage to buy it..then boom...I LOVE SAMSUNG

Samsungs hardwear has always been great. I just hate their software. On their phones.
The folding phone may look pointless to many of you but it makes more sense if you think of it as a folding tablet. As a tablet is has a modest size screen and folding it only increases the number of places you can store it. A small tablet that you can fit in your pocket or bag or purse. It's not as pointless as the other comments make it seem.
Huawei is coming up with their version of "Fold" in few months. I think they will do the "fold" better than Samsung, and even be cheaper

Nah. S10 is as close to perfect phone as anything that will come out for awhile. Except for the price of course, but Note 10 won't be cheaper, and S10 comes with Galaxy Buds.
I just imagine Fold coming in a compact form-factor(minimal size when folded).
Battery size is almost the same as the one on the S10. Which means "they know what it means" low battery life for such a huge device.

So they covered the fingerprint sensor but failed to mention if it works with banks and android pay. Probably because it’s not good enough for bank authentication. Am I wrong? Did I miss them mentioning that?

Good start, but I'll wait for the refinement in future versions. Improve the front display, get rid of notch on foldable display, and make the battery a bit better, then I'm on board.
