Panasonic original circuit board is better than other boards that available in market especially meterial quality and stereo sound quality. So repair the original circuit board is better choice

The LED lights up only when a stereo station is received.
1 Make sure that your station is stereo and Signal quality
2 if ok, try to re tune fm stereo coil
