Independent re-packaging and developing of Vision 3 are kinda flourishing in China. Buying a roll, developing and scanning with Hasselblad flextight X5 (at a shop) cost around $20, tax included.
In England you can get the vision 3 for 24exp for £5 from Nik & Trick
Wow no way! That is a great deal. I heard some other companies might start selling Vision 3 in 35mm soon.
I've had good luck using washing soda to remove remjet, and using C41 chemistry on Kodak Vision3 50D
Jacob Kratavil that’s awesome! I’ll have to try it that way sometime.
Very nice pictures! Do you have the description for developing the Kodak Vision 3 50D somewhere?
really sick video, the shots in it are so cool!! Love how the youtube algorithm works
Joseph Yoon thanks so much! I’m really happy you enjoyed it!
Damm I loved the quality and editing of your video 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much!
This channel is underrated as fuck
Wow thank you very much! I am hoping to make more videos like this one soon. Check out my other channel for more videos!
Cool video
Just develop normally and remove the remjet with a very wet, very soft cloth before drying. Still makes a mess in the tank, but a wet cloth easily removes the remjet the easiest. The missing remjet on the Cinestill creates halos and reduce the contrast and colors way too much, I would go with the original, always.
Awesome! Thank you for the info!
You can actually develop the vision 3 in c41, and then at the end wash in 95* water before you do the stabilizer.
Also, stabilizing for 2 minutes works a lot better compared to one. I’ve just used two separate c41 kits, one for my remjet film and the other for standard color processing.
Jeren Kent very cool, are the results the same as when processed in ECN2? Thank you for the information
great pictures! why do your vision3 pictures seem to be so much less hazy than the cinestill ones? from what you were shooting I can't tell if it was subject matter or the actual film stock that was adding the haze
I think that has to do with the fact that the Vision 3 has a layer of remjet which is supposed to make the images less hazy looking (anti halation). The Cine Still film has it removed so it can be processed it normal C41 chemistry. Thank you for your comment!
heyy, great video, do you know where can i find bulk load of KV3 500T or 50D online?
Hey thank you! I found some here:

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Adam what super 8 video camera do you recommend?
Jules, I would recommend picking up any super 8 off craigslist that is in your price range. For specific models look, The Canon 814/518, or any of the cameras made by Bell and Howell would be a great place to start, but most of them will be suitable.
How well does 50D handle over exposure and indoor shots
I have not shot it indoors much so I can't really speak to that, but as for overexposure it is pretty resilient, and often looks better when it is slightly over exposed in my experience. Thanks for your comment!
Exact same roll?
Bryan Otero nope, two separate rolls, one is Kodak Vision 3 50D, the other is Cinestill 50D
Vision 3 is way better
SplitRockCreativeTV thank you for your comment! I agree, I really like the Vision 3 a lot, but I’m still pretty impressed with the Cinestill for how easy they have made it to be developed.
@@adamontoya Yeah rubbing off Remjet sucks lol
