Because landing and taxi lights looking bad in FlightGear.
But when u can have colourful engines 1:45 u can also have some landing lights too. Its more realistic

@@symbolicsam its very smooth landing for gibraltar airport. I almost overrun and i am using keyboard for throttle control, i cant disable reverse thrust early because keyboard throttle controling so hard.
Ive been playing flight gear a lot but never knew how to do this what did you press at 1:16?
Ctrl-mouse right click. ctrl-mouse right click and mouse wheel(mouse button 3) press these and try 🙂
