Yes Carole, the ladies in the 70s were so stylish!!! Love that mug. I just measured my peach Gertie waist and the rose Gertie waist and the peach one is almost an inch bigger! Wow! I must have accidently cut it bigger. Who knows. I may have been distracted. But it still fits well. I definitely want to make it a 3rd time in a solid color. I love the style. HI Grace! I like the colored necklace the best with that top. That's just my preference. The white would work as well because you were wearing white shoes and, at one point, the white slacks. Shoot! I rushed off to Joann's today, thanks to you letting us know about the Simplicity sale :) My Joann's didn't have the fall patterns out yet but I had a nice long wishlist with me, so that was just fine. I need a good sale on the Simplicity site for some patterns that my store just does not stock. Maybe have to wait for Thanksgiving weekend. Edit, I love those playsuit styles with the tops. I got one today. They are vintagy, cute and fun. Lovely outfit! I love the skirt! I love everything you make with your embroidery machine, so I pick both! You wouldn't believe it, Grace, but up here in Northern Maine, I am wearing an insulated flannel shirt and fleece socks over my shorts. The leaves are changing. Fall is here, and it's cold. I haven't harvested anything from my garden yet. My tomatoes are still green outside. There's still time. Envious of your nice weather :) Love your channel!
Hi Sirena, I will always post sales when as I become aware of them. Which patterns are you referring to when you say you love those playsuit styles with the tops? I love vintage. I love making jewelry on the embroidery machine, simply because it's amazingly quick and easy to do!! Each piece takes 7 mins to stitch out and that's because I lowered the speed to 1/2! It would take only 3 mins each at top speed! I always lower the speed for a more even stitch. I hope to sew up some Fall garments. I came from Syracuse and also Philly areas and I still go there to visit! I don't miss the snow and ice. As always thanks for watching and your wonderful comments! 🥰

NEVER enough patterns Erin! I tell my husband they are worth more than diamonds! You can't make anything with a diamond 🤣🤣but you can create and enjoy your time with a pattern. It has the most beautiful artwork on the envelope and the paper goodies inside are amazing! All for $1.99!! Good on the credit card too! Am I being to dramatic?? Happy sewing! 🥰

Hey Grace! Love your newest Girtie top and skirt, and new coffee cup. Love the flounce skirt. Very cute! I passed on the last Vogue pattern sale at JoAnn's. I have V1871 and most of the newer ones I purchased at the previous Vogue sale. Very, very surprised that your JoAnn's store doesn't carry Burda patterns. I got about a dozen of the Burda patterns I wanted, most are not like any of the Big 4 pattern company patterns. Got all the Burda patterns I wanted except for one. Had to go to 2 JoAnn stores to get them, but it was worth the drive (14 miles farthest away). The pattern drawers in the newer JoAnn's store closest to my house are a hot mess. The store 14 miles away, which is older, the drawers are in much better shape and better stocked. I've got a lot of indie patterns on my "Wish List", but missed a sale that took place on Amazon about 6 weeks ago. So bummed!!! Nothing like the $1.99 Big 4 pattern sales at JoAnn's, but I would have liked to get a few on my list. Oh well. Still sorting, donating, packing, etc. Still much to go through before putting my house on the market. Realtors want to show decluttered homes, and I need to get rid of a lot so I don't have to pay the freight expense to move unnecessary stuff cross-country. Will be buying a smaller home and will be cheaper to re-buy on the other end. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Big hug! 🥰

Friends of mine in FL did, too. I have to use a moving company like United Van Lines because they provide the men to move my boxes and furniture, and then set it all up again at the other end, which I have to have. I sincerely appreciate the idea. 🥰@@sewlovelywithgrace
