The March 2015 incident in Australia, where Depp was filming the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, is sharply disputed and has been a focal point of the four-week civil trial in Fairfax, Virginia.

In one account, she slipped up. She stated he grabbed her arm, & then kept punching her in the face. But when the photo was submitted, it only showed a bruise on her arm, & there was absolutely NO injuries to her face. I hope his lawyers noticed that one!

I bet SHE was the one hitting him, so in his defence.. maybe he tries to hold her arms to stop her from hitting him, and because she’s very pale, a single touch would make her body bruise.
I’ve seen my mom hit/scratch/punch my dad repeatedly before and start physical fights and then he tries to leave, she doesn’t let him and follows him with whatever object in her hand trying to hit him and then when he tries to stop her by holding her arms, later she often had a similar bruise to amber’s on her arm. (My mom is also pale).
This is just my speculation.. since I’ve seen my mom abuse my dad before..
The world sits in judgment, questioning whether Heard is a “real victim”. Does she look like a victim? Does she speak like a victim? Does she cry like a victim?
Where are the headlines asking if Depp is a perpetrator, judging him on every move that he makes? There are no special measures in court - Depp sits there smiling, while Heard relives abuse and trauma.

do you have any comparative interviews to watch or an explanation of how "real" abuse survivors talk because i'm not familiar with the protocol on their behavior. also how much variation is there between how a survivor might recount an experience since i assume not everyone reacts to abuse/violence in the same way (or maybe i'm wrong, lmk). i don't mean to be accusatory, but i don't have a lot of knowledge on the psychology of domestic violence, so i don't know where to start reading about it. thank you in advance!
@@divyaGjagadeesh I can offer some advice! I’ll drop a few links to a couple cases of sa and da victims. A lot of common traits are a quiet or dismissive attitude when talking about the events, sometimes panic attacks and hyperventilating. Most victims will also self blame with a lot of it as the victims shame and regret on their choices as most feel as if they played a part on their abuse (girls wearing provocative clothes or guys not speaking up or feeling pressured to do such acts). Personally as someone’s who’s been through a few domestic relationships I can talk about it openly...to an extent yet I find myself often saying stuff like “well maybe if I did this they wouldn’t of hit me” or “yeah but I should’ve worn baggy clothes...my fault for giving him the wrong idea”. Most if not all don’t know how to say no and want to please the abuser and especially as a long period of time they feel as if they then owe the abuser something because “it’s not that bad, could be worse” (no joke the last words I said to an ex before he shoved me down the stairs because I didn’t want to get into bed...I knew what would happen if I got into bed) so yeah...most victims will push it aside and play it off like it wasn’t to big a deal or have over come the past and can proudly speak out about how to help, not angerly ranting about half point here and there. Also last to add..a true victim can describe the events is extreme detail..no matter how much they’ve tried to block the memories.

Yes this. When talking about experiences of abuse, if you're still in the stage where you're crying, you don't perform for an audience as you tell it. Honestly, in my experience you avoid eye contact during these confessions. But she's pretending to cry, and making eye contact with the whole jury. She repeating herself to make it seem like she's traumatised, but she's repeating weird details and it's vague in all the wrong places.
I'm glad this is broadcast, if anybody was under any illusion that that she was telling the truth, her testimony has shown that she is a manipulative, pathological liar. Give her a Razzie for that hammy performance.

The amount of physical abuse that she’s describing doesn’t go unnoticed and even less when you’re a celebrity surrounded by family and paparazzis looking to snap a picture when you least expect it. How come all that trauma hasn’t been brought upfront by her own family? How come after saying to your lawyer that you didn’t write the op-ed, the first thing to come out of your mouth when you first took the stand is “I’m here because of an op-ed I wrote”? How come you get so mixed up in your stories that you decide to bring Kate Moss, when she has been on record saying how much she loves Johnny and how he has never been aggressive towards her?
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about liars, is if they can’t be honest about the little things that take no effort to not lie about, how are we to expect they won’t lie about the big things that really matter?

Sometimes hearing somebody else's thoughts on a subject can make me reexamine my own opinion, depending on the subject of course, but I find not having such a closed mind when it comes to other people's opinions... helps me understand and relate a bit better.
As for this VERY Public case... I've tried to genuinely give both sides a listen and go from there. Just curious about others..?? Obviously it's not hard to see that almost ALL viewers are strongly behind Johnny, but I'm not so sure he's as pure and innocent as people THINK?? I am a victim of DV. How ever was she allowed to continue I don't know? Well I do actually, but wish I had been there. I would have got thrown out of course, but not before I had got myself heard? She's claimed roughly 15 instances of abuse, she was married to johnny for 15 months. She's saying there was a serious instance of abuse once per month (lets say once every 2 months to include the year or so they were together before they got married even though there were only 1-2 before the marriage according to amber). Serious bruising takes up to 2 weeks to go away. Amber should of been walking around with SERIOUS bruising 25% of the time if we go with the most generous estimations, and closer to FIFTY PERCENT of the time if you attribute most of the abuse to just the time they were married as Amber states!!! Yet no one has seen anything? Her claims are clearly bogus imho.
The injuries she is claiming should have had her hospitalized.

🤔 not calling her a liar but she seems like she is lying. When she is recalling and says “thats it” it sounds like she is trying to remember something she had said previously rather than recalling a traumatic event. Granted I have no idea what I’m talking about but I think most people can tell the difference between when someone is fabricating a story and when someone is telling the truth.
If this is all made up then she is a hypocrite and an embarrassment to very causes she swears to support. But then empathy lacking sociopaths probably wouldn’t care whose causes they destroy.

I agree. I’m not sure who in the jury will be able to view her testimony and her evidence and determine the evidence she’s showing is a result of the things she claims had happened. She should have spoken honestly.

I dont think this woman can cry with tears even if she's really hurt she can only try to act. At some point in her life she learned tears were a sign of weakness and she should never be weak. Her father was a piece of work and didn't have a son to train in being the next psychopath so he created the daughter like that.
