Just listened to it for a solid 10 seconds and I'm now gonna buy this game.
Something I noticed in this game is that theres a crowd cheering "Chai!" all over when reaching S rank.
And when reaching B rank chai's weapon turns into an actual guitar.

There’s no denying that werewolf mecha combination is badass, but I feel like they missed an opportunity to go hard on Fafnir myth from Scandinavian mythology and make him a dragon. It fits too well.
Edit: Well I suppose I didn’t think this through. They went the Wolf of Wall Street Route. Which, considering the corpo thematic of Vandelay, fits 100 times better.
What did Fafnir have to do with dragons? It’s been a while so maybe I’ve forgotten something, but other than his brother being a serpent I don’t remember anything that connects the two
@@erazure. you’re referring to the wolf Fenrir. Son of Loki, the one who tore off Tyr’s arm and is fated to kill Odin when Ragnarok comes. Fafnir was a dwarf, who because of Loki’s shenanigans came to possess cursed gold. Because of the gold, and since dwarves were already a bit greedy to begin with, Fafnir turned into a dragon, the very symbol of greed.
I like the fact that half of Scandinavian myths happened because Loki was bored.
Fafnir wouldve worked great but as JFJ pointed out on stream, he is now literally the Wolf of Wallstreet

I sometimes have issues with bosses have multiple phases but this was done well. They did a great job!

Not gonna lie, this was BY FAR one of the best transformations i have seen in a long time. and the design was cool too.
This was probably one of the more intense fights only because this is where Chai sort of met his match and the stakes were really high. As the match went on, he was starting to get worried and worn out no matter what he dished out at him. It kind of felt like a cap out that he got killed the way he did. I was genuinely curious if there was a reason behind his anger in relation to his power or he was just saying that as a metaphorical weapon to scare and intimidate others. Oh well. fun fight all around.
I like to think the blue "flames" we see coursing throughout Roquefort's body in his werewolf form are some sort of coolant to calm him down from one of his rage filled episodes.

@@lucasfraczek4320 Before the events of the game Roquefort was a world renowned economists who had to retire do to substantial failing health, so it’s safe to assume most of his original body was replaced entirely.

i was wondering why the music was diffrent than when i fought that boss. creator mode, isnt it? cool that they still made the soundtrack simular.
Yeah. They seem to have one soundtrack for streaming mode (so the game can be streamed without hitting copywrite/licencing issues) and one for standard gameplay. It's a pretty clever way of getting some access to licenced tracks without paying further royalties for it's distribution for broadcasting through streamer services.
Which is why pop songs are usually named such, they are selected tracks that are provided to radio stations that they get paid for every time it's used on a program. That's why Maria Ciery gets a massive pay out every Christmas, given that "All I want for Christmas is you" is played practically constantly. XD
The frustrating thing is, everybody knows that nobody is coming to watch a videogame boss fight to listen to a song, so they aren't losing any sales by allowing videos of licensed songs in videogames on CZcams. And everybody *with a brain* knows that it would be good advertising for artists.
But some people are just greedy and stupid, and their greed outpaces their intelligence.
Guess the boss is called "the Mechwolf of wall Street" and lastly his defeat by Greed.
It just dawned on me after 2 months that his breath attack is a reference to the 3 little piggies nursery rhyme where the wolf blows their houses down. God, this game is so good!
Honestly, missed opportunity to have Roquefort fall in the money, rumble a bit, then come out all wolfed out.

The design is definitely cool, but I'm just wondering how there were enough parts to quintuple his size hiding in his cybernetics.
I appreciated the fakeout when you get to the room, with all the robots on display. I got there and thought it was gonna be a bunch of waves of minibosses to get through, but instead they sank into the ground and we got the loup-garou mechaccountant.

the only thing i hated from this boss fight was the rythm section at the very end because i play knm so i got very confused on the left or right clicks and had to change to controller for that end section
