That is a sweet little boat. I grew up on the water in the 80s, if you were a kid in the nabe and didn’t have this whaler with a 40 horse...you were left in the wake👍very nice example
I have a 2001 13 sport Boston whaler with Mercury 40 hp. Awesome little boat. I bought it because it didn't have the wood all fiberglass. Hose down after using. My tender for my sailboat.
I agree nuthin like a classic Boston whaler ! I bought one a week ago and I have a little work to do to it .. it doesn’t have the nice wooden seats.. someone did the starboard kick 🤦🏽♂️ yeah that’s getting but back to the classic wood again lol .. such a fun little boat
Very nice setup. It's actually a Sport...Super Sport had full bow rail, bigger side console, aft bench seat had a backrest and a storage locker attached (much more wood). I prefer the Sport and yours is perfect in my opinion.
That is a very nice 13ft whaler , but that is not a super sport, and no the plywood is not original. and since when is a galvanised trailer aluminium ? would like to see video of it going along
My 77 13 has the plywood in the bow locker also, mine is really heavy with 12 gal and a Yamaha 40hp 4 stroke. I put a vid of it running on my videos. Do you have weight in the bow for ballast?
I have a 1966 13 ft whaler, she's still floating and is an amazing boat for taking out in Tampa bay waters . The newer whalers seem smaller inside to me. Idk why , bit they do. I like the original wavy floor like mine has. Hard to get use to when walking on but well worth the comfort features
I just bought a 1993 sport. I agree with you about the "classic" look of the wood is much nicer than newer ones. Beautiful boats and well made.
