    Salam bro. I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I would like you to explain more in depth why Al-Rayaan bank is haram. I know you've already done a video previously but I felt you didn't go into more in depth. I.E I would like you to bring out Al-Rayaan policies black & white and explain/quote hadith where they are going wrong. . . . Not verbally what you believe or think or what your teacher saying. I would much prefur you to bring up their policies, they're fatwa and then explain why its "HARAM" . . . P.S I appreciate all your advice so far. May Allah reward your intentions and forgive anything you may have said inaccurately.

      Wa alaikumaslam habeebi,
      Firstly JazakAllahu khairan habeebi. I think a video on this is needed and I will make one on this In Sha Allah. For the mortgage to be legitimate and halal as they sell it as a partnership but this isn't the case. The buyer holds the risk in many factors and Al Rayan would still expect their return and thus what it's sold as "a partnership" in truth is not a partnership & Allah swt knows best.

    • @mutahirali4103
      @mutahirali4103 Před 3 lety

      @@abumusa_ch I appreciate your response your explanation of partnership that was explained on your previous video was spot on! I agree however I have friends/family whom don't agree. . . They states how do you define partnership? In business & in any business we have different types, you have a silent partner, you have a side partner, you have a partner who only invest so how you define partnerships is different to how someone else would define partnerships it doesn't mean they are wrong, as long as everything is explained at the start & both parties agree then I dont see it haram. End of the day it's a business and they have to survive, they providing a service & a massive funds in order to keep the ball rolling. . . ( again for the record I belive its Haram.) I look foward to your future video going more in the depth and emphasise on why I.e quotes from Hadith etc.

      @abumusa_ch  Před 3 lety +2

      @@mutahirali4103 No problem my bro, so obviously here we say that it's islam that sets out what is acceptable or not. Your right that partnerships vary but which partnership would you find that says if you lose the money (house price drops below the mortgage amount) only one party is responsible ie the buyer. That's why this is not even a fraction of a partnership it's simply playing with words. Allah swt knows best

    Selamün aleyküm Brother, appreciate the trying to help.
    But with respect, you've said a whole load of things and said nothing for 8 minutes.
    Your video is titled "alternative to a mortgage".
    Anyone who knows anything about Islam already knows interest is haram.
    So you've basically just said work and pay rent for 8 minutes.
    That's not an alternative to buying a house with a mortgage.
    If the point of your advice WAS start a side hustle, maybe titling your video "Halal Side Hustles" would be less misleading.
    And then actually give your opinion on good side Hustles.
    I'm not quite sure who this video is actually helping.
