Very enjoyable Gav. Loved the Emu V Eagle footage, nearly had the shot. Regarding the nuclear material, the enriched Uranium was flown from England via the RAF to Australia, direct to site and assembled in situ for the first test, i believe the same for the second. Remote detonation, not air dropped. Might i recommend, "equinox, a very British bomb" for a bit of back story for you. Cheers Moose.

Good vid but not sure running emus to exhaustion is a good thing. I'm doing this trip in 3 weeks and I'll be leaving the chooks alone - it's their country, not mine.....
Yeah, 50 yards from animals is the general rule. He should have stopped and let them figure it out without the stress of being chased by a truck.

Yeah not good, I always pull over and let them find there way off the track and that includes camels.
No Emu's were hurt in the filming of this series :D You think thats bad wait till you see the Camels.

Because the camera was forward facing you couldn't see but we were scrambling to get long lens camera gear ready the whole time and that bloody emu in front of me wouldn't get out the way hahah

Quick question, unrelated to the video, but related to the truck, traction control in a water crossing. On or off in the 200?
Hi Jacob, thats a great question and a difficult one to answer because it depends a lot on the water crossing. In shallow water where there is a steep muddy bank on the other side, momentum will play a part in getting you out of the water so I would have traction control off. In a slow speed, deeper crossing I would leave the traction aids on and depending on the water flow I would also consider letting more air out of the tyres to increase my footprint and improve traction. Hi Robert, roughly 260L but I also did many side trips including down the Connie Sue. Total distance, just under 1800km
