Your area is so lovely! We visit a beach called tybee island and this island has not been modernized and I hope it stays that way but your back yard makes me feel like I'm looking at photos of the island . I love the traditional tiki island vibe you have created .

I had bought that wooden post decoration. Just loves it. It lasted 5 years is my central Florida garden. The bottom piece fell off. I redid the wood with lacquer. And now it's starting to fall apart again. I was thinking about making a new set out of coffee cans to replace the wood.

Have you installed the three pole system in the ground? I'm wondering how best to do this to prevent tipping please.
I gotta say, if none of these garden plants are silk... then you are an awesome Gardner. And even if they were (yuk!) you still have an incredible design sense.

They are very real lol.. so I’ll take that as a compliment 😁🌴🌺 My garden looks quite different in the winter as I have to dig some plants up to bring Inside, chop some right back and mulch over plus wrap a few in horticultural fleece. I have videos on how I do this. It’s a lot of work but my garden brings me a lot of joy 🌴🦋🍍🌺🌿☀️🏝
I noticed for the first time you don’t have any trays under your pots. I am concerned I should have them but they would distract from the look. Your garden is beautiful and I have watched your videos over and over.
All my ceramic garden pots have drainage holes, if you mean my pots inside I use plastic nursery pots with drainage holes inside ceramic pots so no need for trays 🌿🌺

Sat here in lockdown I'm looking forward to getting back in the garden in spring. Until then I'm in the planning stages so thank you for the inspiration. Can I ask how you mounted the poles to stop them from falling over please? Did you concrete them in or use some sort of metal stake perhaps? Thanks :-)
Hi there! The wooden poles are pretty heavy so I didn’t need to mount/secure them… I haven’t had any issues with any of them falling over ☺️🌴
@@TropicalPlantAddict Thank you, the local neighbourhood cats who would probably try and use them as a scratching post! I might try and fix them into the ground, or attach them to the decking. I'm also thinking of attaching lights to them for some Summer evening ambience

The concrete tiki statues are from tiki Headz online, the planter is from a local garden centre and my wooden ones are from Trader Tark
