Cool video - but I believe you've actually given the definition of socially responsible investing (investing with both quantitative and qualitative benefits in mind).
There are three types of investing that fall into the 'do good while making money' bucket: ESG, SRI and Impact.
ESG puts your money into places that focus on the environmental, social and governance impact of a company's practices (while also keeping your money away from those who hinder those three things).
SRI is broader than ESG, as it focuses on issues beyond just environment, social impact and governance. SRI focuses on selecting/removing companies from a fund based upon ethics such as one’s personal values, religious beliefs, or political stance.
And Impact investing (also known as ‘thematic’ investing) selects usually one community or cause to assist and focuses on putting money towards that.
All three are aimed at ‘doing good’ - but the focal point of each differs depending on specificity and personal preference.
Thank you for this great explanation

Muy buen resumen para empezar...
Unfortunately that model is flawed because some impact enterprise serve communities with minimum returns
And unfortunately, not enough people are attracted to “minimum returns” to solve several problems.
Nobody is talking about replacing traditional social enterprise, just that impact investing performs a different function when traditional charity/social enterprise is lacking.
