This is a prime example of what made MTV awesome in the first couple of years: a band you'd never heard of with a great song and a ridiculous video that made you laugh. Super cool clip!
Well said so many beauties in history to research and look up this just one of them and a Rockband Bootcamp is classed as says on Wiki and Google what a gem video blows anything now away love to return in spirit and never leave the list is endless another dimension portal World it is the list etc about the 80s live on forever it deserves
I was a stage manager for one of the opener acts Nouveau Riche. Sometimes they opened for Ravens or No Heros. Old bass player crack the sky and Paul Smith guitar. He now owns PRS guitars. Very hi quality guitar maker. As The bandit worked forgot known I left the hrs always working nite weekends sucked.
Bootcamp has to be the most under-rated band in the history of music. I never even heard of these guys during the 80s -- but they're so much better than a lot of other bands that hit it a lot bigger than they did. I guess it's better that I discover their music 30 years late than never. I even went on Google Street View to see the place where they filmed this video -- as near as I can tell it was at about 416 East Baltimore Street in Baltimore, MD.
Wow, how have I never seen this one! Thanks for posting it. Brings back a lot of memories! (Both the music ... and The Block, lol!) "Fire in the Hole" is what got me hooked on these guys when I was a kid (thanks to my older brother). Suspect that was the entry song for a lot of people.

Brings back memories of seeing this band on Monday night's at Maxwell's and Tuesday nights at Girard's.

This is the funniest video I've ever seen in my life -- and it gets funnier every time I watch it!
Wow! I remember seeing these guys at Maxwell's quite a bit and at other clubs around Baltimore back in the day. This band was so underrated.

BANZAI!!!!!!!!!!! God, I remember the night this was filmed. God, what a drag it is getting old.
Nothing says 80's more than a keytar. 🙃
I wonder how many times they had to stop filming because blocking the street off wasn't in the budget. "CAR!!!"
