In this show specifically. It's well known that Chester could not keep up the "studio" level when they were on tour. It was a matter of preserving voice and health. The screaming demanded too much.

Literally the only difference is he can’t hold notes as long as he can in the studio. I assume this is due to him moving around and not really being able to take in as much air and also having to tour all the time can be physically exhausting.
