- We spent our last weekend living in Seattle visiting as many of our favorite spots as possible! From our must-eat foods and treats, to hidden gem coffee shops, to the quirkiest sights, we had the best day reliving our favorite memories (like the time we got engaged!) and saying farewell to the city we love with all of our hearts!

Hi y'all! We’re Adam and Kathryn, an adventurous married couple living in a Sprinter van! You can often find us scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos, climbing mountains, cuddling our fur child Kona, and dreaming about Hawaii.
We created Adventures of A+K to help busy, budget conscious, and adventurous travelers maximize their vacation time and money wherever they go through detailed travel guides, vlogs, and resources. Our goal: to help you spend less time (and stress!) planning your trip and more time enjoying it!

I used to live in Redmond next to a trail in the Education Hill neighborhood called the Powerline Trail, and it is lined with delicious blackberries :)

Adventures of A plus K I loved tacos chukis the torta and tacos the best and horchata yum 😋 Also went to Edmonds beach area and plan to go on the ferry next time I didn’t make it on time but hopefully next years trip..

It’s the best!!! They have three locations, but there are also a few other vegan ice cream spots. We haven’t had those because we always just go to Frankie & Jo’s! 😋

Shout out to you guys for the recommendation for the breakfast burritos at Stone Way Cafe. I rarely comment on any videos, much less travel recommendation ones, but this deserves props. I'll agree that it's one of the best breakfast burritos I've had! And that atmosphere of that place was great, it's just a shame you can't sit down in there due to COVID restrictions right now.
So pumped to hear you also love the burrito! That spot was our go-to when we lived in Seattle. Such a gem!

Tacos chukis is by far our favorite here in Seattle. My mouth watered so much as soon as you took your first bite. your reactions were the same as ours lol

I’m definitely planning a trip to Seattle next year. I want to visit Bruce and Brandon Lee burial site at Lake View Cemetery, his favorite Chinese restaurant, mariners game at safeco/t-mobile park, space needle, coffee shops, the famous pike place market and Wing Luke museum!
I went to the Wing Luke Museum when I was teaching a few years ago on a field trip and I highly recommend it! It’s a really awesome experience! Can definitely recommend a baseball game as well. That’s one of the nicest ballparks! Definitely hit up the Bruce Lee sites as well. Sounds like you have a great itinerary already lined up!

Hello, Thanks for the video blog about Beautiful Seattle... Lived there in the 1980's ... those Tacos look delicious ...try a Tacos at "El Puerco lloron" at Pike Place market it's down stairs on way to waterfront , grettings from NYC .

The ice cream is amazing! We go at least 2 times whenever we come back to visit haha!
Those tacos at the end are Tijuana Style Tacos, if you ever go there you'll definitely love the taco culture. Second best in the country, after CDMX.
We loved the tacos in CDMX, so we can only imagine how much we would love the tacos in Tijuana if we ever make it there!
if you walk west on Highland Drive to the end of the street there's an even more spectacular view west to the Olympics. Go at sunset...

Tacos Chukis is the best, they also have a really good Torta (Sandwich) and it's a big Sandwich and it's only $8. I really enjoyed this video as all the places you guys been I as a local enjoy going on my free time. I just subscribed.

I feel the same way lol Seattle doesn’t really have so many taco spots, I moved here 4 months ago and I went to Tacos Chukis too but the salsa wasn’t spicy 💔but the meat was AMAZING ❤️
The meat is SO good! And they are definitely not the spiciest tacos we have ever had, but the flavor (especially with that pineapple!) makes us so happy! Have you found any other taco spots you like?

When I took a trip to Seattle in 2017 with my parents, I was walking along Golden Gardens Beach with my dad and guess what? I ran into my friend Jack from high school here in Colorado! I was a little far ahead of my dad so he didn't run into him, but it was cool. He lives in Seattle and went to UPS for undergrad.

Kerry Park is cool. My bro used to live down the hill from there. In an apartment in Queen Anne with 0 places to park.
We luckily never had issues parking for our apartment in Upper Queen Anne. 😃
@@AdventuresofAplusK yeah, his apartment didn’t have a parking lot. You had to park on the street and it was extremely hard for him and his girlfriend at the time (now wife and they have a 1 year old) to find places to park. They now live in a house in West Seattle which I believe has a garage. By the way, I have to ask, which one of you is responding to my comments?
We didn’t have a designated parking spot either. It wasn’t a big deal, but with a kid that would be a pain! This is Adam
@@AdventuresofAplusK for sure. Their last house in Magnolia didn't have a garage or driveway but there was much more open parking space on the street than their apartment in Queen Anne.
Marination is cool. I went there on Sunday with my brother, sister in law and nephew before flying back to Denver. Also have you been to West Seattle Grounds, Good Society Brewing, or Hotwire Coffee in West Seattle?
Oh yeah we love Marination!
We haven't spent a tooonnn of time in West Seattle so no we haven't been to those coffee shops. There are so many amazing shops all over Seattle

Ok, I have to ask.......do you guys not like seafood? Every time we hit Seattle, we HAVE to have seafood! I mean, we live in NE now, and there really isn't any fresh seafood. Just curious. Love that you take us to places that are out of the way and aren't really touristy. I LOVE Seattle!! Keep up the good work!!
Adam does, but I am not a huge fan (I am trying though and have had it in more recent videos!) We definitely didn't take advantage of all of the seafood up there when we lived in Seattle!

If you just plan to explore the city, you don't need a car. But we recommend getting outside of the city if you can! We have tons of blog posts on our site with tips for Seattle and Washington.
