You're making it increasingly hard to ignore these models 😅 I have far too much to be getting on with as it is. Fantastic paint job and tutorial, the colour scheme is brilliant
Great to see a saurus from the sacraed spawning of the old ones rocking about. Albino is always intimidating so it's nice to have a guide to try myself.
Henry, you really need to stop beating around the bush. Just pull the trigger and do an army, we all want to see it 😂. Fantastic piece you did here!!
Absolutely stunning, Henry. This video is packed with so many good, well-executed ideas it's making me consider building a seraphon army. I was really enjoying the mount paint job and then you added that incubi darkness in the spine. Superb!
thanks v much, i really enjoyed painting it.
Love the combination of colours!
What a beautiful paint job and so well described from inspiration, background, colour choice and technique. Thank you!
Thanks Julian
This is another phenomenal paint job, easy to do with no faffing. There are a lot of others doing multiple steps and layers that, in my opinion, just isn’t feasible for army painting. Great in singular models but not for armies.
Both this and the last Seraphon video has really made me want to pick some up and paint because they’re limited paints, approachable paint jobs and in this case super vibrant and interesting
Thanks. It’s a real challenge to find that right balance for army painting for me.
Insanely good, the green accents on the aggradon work so well. Would absolutely love to see you paint the kroxigor and slann models, can't get enough of your takes on these models.
think i'll build the Krox next!
Theres a definite boss ross quality to your channel. Finding it so enjoyable to watch you work and you explain it. Thanks for the content! hope more lizards are coming :)
Thanks Zach
Superb work as always Henry, this is so inspirational as I am about to start learning to play AoS and Seraphon are my army of choice!
Excellent choice
Great to see use of the airbrush. I think yours is the only good Seraphon tutorial that uses one.
Would love to see more Lizards. Always like natural looking textures like these or other models with skin an stuff like demons.
This is absolutely great! Keep m lizzards coming…..!
Had an albino leopard gecko growing up, enjoyed that bit of context!! I'm planning on painting my skinks like Spider Man Agamas, still sorting the rest.
they are weird looking little things!
Catching up on some of the content backlog, this is phenomenal dude. Eagerly anticipating Old World!
Thanks Dale, I really enjoyed this one.
love this !! just got myself your airbrush bundle cant wait to try it :)
Awesome!
Amazing sir
Incredible.
Just bought one of these after watching this video so many times! The Kroxigor models are superb though, 100% recommend. Tempted to get another set. Seraphon are so nice!
Love these models! So many possibilities. Fantastic job Henry
Thanks Tom
@@cultofpaint And to your point - MORE of these models please, they're so good! I love the base too, was this from your previous Seraphon guide?
@@tombrand236 link to base video is near the end
@@cultofpaint ah thanks I must have missed that! Cheers Henry
Whoa wee! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
looks great, these new kits are such an improvement, definitely tempted me to try some out, probably dip my toe in with the underworlds warband and try some of these techniques.
That little warband is a great little side project.
I love those squiggles o the mount. I painted green mounts a few years ago for my lizardmen, and I used icing darkness for the spine and I also did squiggles with yellow and incubi 😂
The more I watch these videos, the more inspired I get, and the less likely I'll be to ever paint my dream Lizardmen army because it will never live up to this level of art.
Be inspired, get it done. And then tag us so I can see it :
I really like your videos, especially with Seraphon 🦎
Thanks Pedro
Im doing tau at the moment trying a bright colour but i want to one of these next great job 👍
Cool
About leopard geckos, they are not true albino, that's why they have color and marking, they are t+ albino which means, the melanin is still present but incomplete and can't become black. A white "albino" lizard need to be both true albino, but also devoid of red and yellow pigment. Full white are generally leucistic, which makes young and animals with thin skin very often pinkish as you did! Excellent tutorial
The light skin works really well with the darker raptor.
I have been re-watching the Seraphon videos as I plan to start a small league for Spearhead and have chosen these. Would love to see some more of these from you Henry. Any plans to paint up the Aggradons or a Spearhead box?
6:49 mixing contrast paints with you favorite white (or off-white) is a great way to fix little mistakes you made. Also I found that mixing white with the skin colors from the Contrast range makes very usable opaque versions of them. The great thing is that you can choose the white you most like for the job. Like a Heavy Body white or the great Pro Acryl white if you are looking for smoothness for example.
The contrasts really do have a ton of uses.
FINALLY A ALBINO TUTO
Awesome stuff, would love to see the aggradons as well. When you say green saurus do you mean the ones you did in the first video?
Yeah, except I think I would go for a dark green on the spine, not the blue.
Im doing a full albino seraphon army its fun painting
Jesus Christ be praised, Henry's Come to See Us!!
Did you explain the metal in this video or did i miss it? Absolutely stunning work!
I cover the metal and any other missing bits in the previous Saurus vid.
1 year later, still wishing u did a whole army xD
he's still on my desk!
Can you paint like blue green kroxigors? Or how would you go about them? I just love the crocodile heads
Same process as the Saurus in the previous video. I’d maybe not go quite as light on the bellies though.
hi there! i don'T know if you will ever notice this comment or if anyone could answer
at the 3:10 mark i notice the pinkish red parts seems to get a fair bit darker after the cut, did you put something else on it in-between cuts?
Or is it just the paints that have dried darker with time?
Can I ask, would priming the model in Grey Seer make for much of a difference to this model than priming it IN Wraithbone? I ask only because I have none of the latter and I'm unsure if I need to go buy a rattle can of Wraithbone. Thank you so much in advance!
I think wtaithbone wil give you slightly more natural tones. But I doubt it's a massive deal. Honestly it's so quick I'd suggest try the main colour over greyseer and then decide.
@@cultofpaint thank you 😊
Which technique you have used for the gold? You may also have already made a video you can link to?
It’s linked near the start of the video. A Saurus video uploaded a month ago.
@@cultofpaint thank you very much! Seems like I missed that on the way to the end. 😅
Light belly = Calico, at least in python terms
This is the first part?
Any parts that aren’t covered in this video are in the previous Saurus video. Eg metals.
Incredible.
