What my teacher has beautifully explained is very true. It requires two to tango . Penny Jee mentioned very nicely that one cannot marry oneself as an analogy to explain why grahas cannot form rajayogas by themselves. I am a Taurus Ascendant Chart with Saturn the RajaYogaKaraka sitting in the 7th in dig bala condition without any sambandha with any graha. I ran Saturn in my childhood until I got married. Now I am running my Mercury dasha. Mercury as the 5th lord is in sambandha with the 4th lord Sun and I am truly experiencing RajaYoga results in this dasha I dont remember any significant rise in my Shani dasha. Shani dasha from a career standpoint was good , I got my first job and I did well in my career and I would attribute that simply because it is the 10th lord well placed in digbala condition aspecting the lagna but I did not see the magnitude of Rjayoga it created like Mercury is doing right now. So as my Guru says, dont get enamoured simply by the fact that certain lagnas have grahas owing kendras and trikonas. They dont give results simply by themselves during their dasha periods.

I am not sure but the venus-saturn mutual aspect connects the 9th and 10th lord Saturn with your 1st lord venus. That is probably the best yoga in your chart.
There are many yogas with this combo: raja yoga of 9th and 10th, Trikona Raja yoga of 5th and 9th, Raja yoga of 1st and 10th, raja yoga of 1st and 5th, raja yoga of 1st and 9th, dhana yogas, kesari yoga and hamsa yoga. This happens in the chart of Angelina Jolie
Depending on the "environment" of the chart, the strength of the lagna lord, the strength of the grahas making your yogas, the sequence of dashas, one evaluates if and when there will be fructification.
I love the analogy she used for the lagna lord.

Saturn is like that.. It wont give the feeling if we get success in venus or meecury or jupiter dasha..
