    Куэнтеро ,чтоб победить Рио навязать ему серьезную конкуренцию нужно, ритм изменить,поработать над выходом удара(во многих ударах его нет в замен скорости )он очень быстр !Рио хорош эталон Браво Рио Браво!

    I like this kind of Chatanyara Kushanku, but I'm asking from wich ryu/ha does it come from.
    Who knows it? Thank you.
    Incredible Kiyuna but for me the real best one is Shinbaba for males and Ohno about the ladies.

      It's Chatanyara Kusanku. A heavily modified version of it. Doesn't seem to be from a specific style, but just something Quintero has come up with.

      This is the version of Kusanku from the Tomari branch of styles. Styles such as Matsubayashi and Shobayashi do that version of Kusanku. If you go to Karate By Jesse's video channel, look up "Old" Style Kusanku and you will see a similar rendition

    Chatan Yara kushanku es un kata de gran dificultad y Ohan Dai es un kata inventado para que Kiyuna sea campeón olímpico, pero Kiyuna también tiene errores y defectos técnicos en su ejecución.

    Just what the hell was Quintero doing here with this kata? Just how much can an athlete alter a kata, this doesn't seem fair.

    • @barrettokarate
      @barrettokarate Před 3 lety +1

      They're all altered. Compare every performance of this kata (all done by shito-ryu stylists) to the one found in shorin-ryu. The latter doesn't have overly exaggerated moves (especially the jump) like the shito-ryu tournament versions.
      Plus, according to WKF rules "Slight variation as taught by the Competitor’s style (Ryu- Ha) of Karate will be permitted." Not sure what branch of shito-ryu Kiyou Shimizu comes from, but RIka Usami is from Inoue-ha shito-ryu and their versions aren't 100% the same. Shimizu's has a slightly faster speed. Quintero could make an argument that this is the way he's school does it.

    This new Kata is astonishingly BORING.
    Not talking about Ryo's performance. He gives all his got but the Kata itself is so repetitive and lack of luster.
    If the Chatanyara would have been performed by Rika Usami, would have left Ryo in the dust.
